NFL  > New York Giants  > Giats' Plan Tomorrow
November 29, 2008, 08:57 PM
I don't think it is going to be a big deal. I am pretty sure that the Giants will win it. But anyways, a game is a game, there should be some plan there.

It has been suggested by a few analysts that the Redskins' best approach might be to blitz Eli Manning whenever possible. But the Redskins don't rush the passer very productively (they only have 17 sacks this season), and the Giants' offensive line is among the NFL's best. In fact, Manning has only been sacked 13 times all season. When a defense "sells out" to blitz, it often gets burned by the run, and with Brandon Jacobs (if healthy) and Derrick Ward doing the running, blitzing could prove to be fatal for the Redskins.
