NFL  > Tampa Bay Buccaneers  > Where did they come from

My beloved Steelers are playing the undefeated Bucs this week. Where did the Bucs come from? They were supposed to be horrible! Yes they haven't had any tough win, but still, they are blowing me away! The Steel Curtain II should hold them though!

I think you're right, it will be brutal. Troy has me a little worried, he isn't the most durable player.

Like Sanders with the Colts; "ya gotta pace yourself son............."

I have yet to see the Bucs play and with recent record don't know how often they will be featured on a National Stage....would like to see them play, see what maddness Rashid has conjured up

I believe BUcs young D will definitely make an impact.... They're really starting to get it together.....Sorry Steeler fans.........BUcs all the way......NO QB no offense....... Go Bucs!!!!!!!!

I see the Steelers defense returning 2 picks for TD's. The Bucs QB will choke under the pressure of going 3 and 0!!

All steelers have are Polomalu and Harrison..... Other than that...Bucs hve nothing else to worry about..... Watch out for the young WR Mike Williams and TE Winslow.......

Don't forget the Steelers have a good two man running combination in Mendenhall and Redman

Charlie Batch knows the offense better than any of the backups and he is 5-1 all time when starting, Charlie can and will get it done.

Your Bucs are 2-0 but they played the Browns and the Panthers and both teams are 0-2 so I wouldnt get to worked up about them wins, I mean a win is a win, but you havent faced a defense like the Steelers and they will not take it easy on Freeman.

Good luck to your team...

Good one Rocker and they have very good recievers as well , I think we will be fine Batch has had all week to work with the offense which he hasnt had during training, I am not to concerned About this one and what I have been reading the team isnt taking this one as they will win it attitude, I think they are sending a message that we were wrote off to soon.

LMAO! Well, well, looks like reality has descended upon the Tampa Bay faithful..... For all the build up this week, this game was over well before halftime. Charlie Batch played like the crafty uber-veteran that he is and Mike Wallace ( Santonio WHO? ) scorched the TB secondary! Except for a couple of miscommunications btw Batch and the receivers that led to INTs, the Bucs score just a FG ( that last TD was GARBAGE ).....

The D is focused on playing for the #1 rank this season and don't see a let up even after Ben gets back in week #6. As far as Troy Polamalu is concerned, he's probably the MOST well-conditioned athelete in the NFL and isn't prone to injury, unless some 300lb+ piece of s*** jumps on his knee from behind, like last year. The man plays a violent sport with a hell-bent for-leather intensity; high-speed collisions are part of the game. Troy will be just fine!

Troy P is arguably the most valuable player on the Steeler Defense, totally different team without him. One could say he is more important than Rothlesberger; the steelers win w/out Big Ben.

I like Troy P and like to watch him play. I like the fact that the Head n Shoulders commercials in essence make fun of him and his hair, he could care less, he laughs all the way to the bank and his play on the field totally shows what a beast he is, makes the hair care funny. I still feel that he needs to protect himself from excessive hits or potential injury.

Does Isaac Redman remind anyone else of the Bus? Their styles are so similar.

September 27, 2010  04:22 PM ET

Don't know where they came from, but they sure as hell crashed back to earth after that game!!

It's hard not to notice that your delusional, misinformed arse has not shown back up for his serving of crow. Maybe you should have said that the bucs had nothing else to worry about other than the whole damn Steelers team.

I did enjoy watching out for that Mike Williams fumble though.

Oh yeah, that Bucs Defense sure made an impact. I think they actually made the Steelers punt once or twice.

I like your enthusiasm, but I still think you highly underestimate the Steelers great offense. Their wide receivers and running backs are spectacular.
