NCAAF  > General NCAAF  > TCU Sucked Last night

I'll just throw it out there, because someone else will if I don't.

That was probably the poorest execution, tackling and overall general performance TCU has had in the last 2-3 years. Not sure what it is about Dalton in particular that when he gets the ESPN spotlight on him, he starts choking.
Play Utah on Versus, TCU plays lights out. Play BYU on Versus, TCU destroys them. Put TCU in the national spotlight and they play to the level of their opponent.
I guess the only good I can take out of it is that even playing like crap they beat a hated rival by 17.
I fully expect, depending on performaces by Oregon, Texas, OU, etc, that TCU may drop as much as 3-4 places.

Keep in mind that those that vote, rarely watch any games. Hence Arkansas at #10, Boise and Texas getting first place votes, Michigan ranked etc.

Plus TCU did thump the Ponies pretty good from the 3rd quarter on.

SMU is better than the general national perception.

I wouldn't write TCU off just yet. They made adjustments in the 3rd qtr and won easily like good teams do.

And SMU is a much better team than a few years ago.
Plus, this is a rivalry game going way back to the days of the old southwest conf.

Matter of fact - way back in 1935, these teams played each other when they were ranked #1, and #2!

Being off is a win in and of itself.

So Boise St is 267-0 on the year.

Not bad!

Ghost,

Just be glad you don't play UCLA.....

J/K. Will be interesting to see the polls, bet you stay at 4 though (NEB, Oregon, and OU didn't impress very much at all last night).

UF looked impressive for once. Agree that TCU should be 4.
