i disagree with Bush i think he needs to change his running but i still believe he is the better back if he gets serious about his running he could be an amazing back.
i mean he could also be an amazing punt and kick returner too. Like in the Minnesota vs. Saints game i mean 2 punt returns
they knew what they were getting in bush when they drafted him. he's not an every down back, not an inside runner, and shouldnt be the focal point of your running game. they got him to be a change of pace home run hitter running outside of the tackles and in the passing/screen game. now that he is injured he's going to be slower and he wont have the change of direction needed to "play" his game. the saints will need to draft another back or get a back via free agency. that being said he can still "change" a game depending on how he rehabs but even then it will be yr 2 after the injury that he will be able to do the "special" things he brings to the table
slap a reciever number on him and put him in the slot...he'll be like hester, but 20x better!!!!
What to do about Bush!
Does that sound funny to anyone else?

Don't be crazy. Bush is a multi threat weapon who sometimes kept the Saints in position to win game through his unique game changing abilities. I don't believe in trying to get Bush to change who he is. I don't mind him looking for the home run. That is who he is. Thats what makes him so dangerous. He can take it too the house any given play. Sometimes, he strikes out and loses some yardage, Barry Sanders also got caught in the backfield numerous times. Bush also busts out a 60 yard play, and no one is telling him to "run north and south" when he does that. He was having the best season of his brief career before getting hurt. Thats his only real problem right now.
Whoever actually thinks the Saints offense or ANY offense is better without having Reggie Bush is kidding themselves big time. Ask any D - coordinator and I bet they will tell you that Reggie Bush presents so many more headaches when preparing against an offense he is in, and that is especially true with the Saints' high powered machine.
Bush for Steven Jackson????? Steven Jackson is more injury prone than Bush. I will tell you The Rams would do back flips if that trade was actually proposed. I do happen to think Pierre Thomas is the answer for the Saints as far as RB is concerned.
Keep him in there as a change of pace back...he is waaaaayyyyy to injury prone to carry the load. Pierre Thomas should be your starter, that guy can run between the tackles easily.
Running back is not the main priority for the Saints...it's probably not in the top15 position priority list...Defense is top.
In the playoffs a few years ago the Eagles played the Saints, and Sheppard hit Bush really hard (wacth it on youtube) and that literally knocked the good out of him because he hasn't been good since.
Pierre Thomas emerged as a good talent but I dont think he'll develop into the every-down back they are looking for, if Bush doesnt make something of himself this yr I bet he'll be gone, i doubt McAllister's comin back so maybe they'll find someone in the drfat or FA....But since they are in the Panthers Div. I hope they keep sucking.
Reggie Bush is an EXCELLENT FOOTBALL PLAYER. So What if the guy doesn't rush for 1400 yards. His ability to catch the ball out of the backfield or in the slot makes him extremely valuable in this offense. Not to mention his return ability. This guy is an all around football player. I'd take him on my team any day.

I like what bro_soup said, put in the slot.he might not be an awesome running back, but would probably be a good receiver.plus we need him as a returner.GO SAINTS
I think that Reggie Bush is a very talented player but not a good every down RB, like big saints fan (I have no idea who tou are) but i do think he should starting receiver.
