I just saw the footage of this incident. It seems there is always some idiot that makes the other good fans look bad. Lets make this a fun season folks. I don't think it's necessary to freak out every weekend!

Yep, heard there was a rather high number of drunk idiots at the game. All that does is make Bears fans look bad and yourself an idiot.

Brett told me he used to spit at Rodgers, when he was with Green Bay.

Haha....agreed, SweetCakes...sometimes it only takes one post. The best one was when someone created a dupe account and then forgot to switch before posting...trying to back himself up...can't remember who that was. Then after the bust he said it was his own nephew playing with his computer. That was a classic.

What tangled webs we weave when we practice to deceive.......

I remember that.

How did you get in my uncle's van?

I see fans like this in every sport there is and I must say that they should be banned from sports and made to watch dung beetle volleyball.

Chicago being a large market team gains the publicity of an overly intoxicated fan, it's not the only place a fan has ever done something of this nature, it happens more than one might think and in every sport. I personally witnessed things at Saints games that made me feel sorry for fans of the other team and these things go on in every stadium in the NFL but usually go unreported as it happens to fans. This case happened to involve a player who lost his cool otherwise no story would have ever made it to the headlines.

yeah it happens all the time in hockey too, you just have to ignore it. now granted, i'm a nick collins and a packer fan but i believe both sides are in the wrong. you should never use racial slurs and as a professional athlete you have to ignore it. however, i think that it's getting blown out of proportion. it's a mouthpiece, not like he threw a punch...

Retaliation over a drunk moron would garner no retribution, who is the real fool a drunk moron or a retaliatory Professional athlete?

They should police the area better, cordon off the entry under the seats and just get those people out of there. How hard is it to make sure this doesn't happen. Fans want to deal with their own team fine but protect the visitors from this harassment. This is European Soccer Hooliganism..... our NFL is better than that.
