Wow. 1-2, right? Isn't it all about the W's? And I thought Dez was going to be a 1300 yard receiver? Now it's 800? How's the running game looking? Williams? He had a nice game against Houston. Do you see that as a trend? What do you think of your coaching staff? Are you behind Wade and Jason?
I don't remember saying Dez would get 1300 yards but I did say I thougt he'd be outstanding. His missing all his preseason games didn't help. Hes on pace for 800 yards as a rookie. As far as our coaching staff... I feel that they won in 08 and 09 so I think we'll be winning again. We will see what transpires vs the Titans. The win in Houston was encourageing.

lol........you know your just going to be called a hater don`t you ?
Go to a bar up here in NY during a Dallas game and you'll see the haters cheering your bad plays so yes its human nature to think every negative comment is from a hater. After all according to most fans Jones is a terrible owner who won three rings because he was lucky? lol
Williams is a good North/South runner; his body type is not suited for the hard cuts that Miles mastered to get open. Using Williams for deep routes is the way to go. Now Bryant is a different matter. I am seeing the body control and ability to get his hands up quickly and in control to make some insane catches. IF and BIG IF here these three could all get it going at the same time then I am at a loss to recall a trio this potent. Maybe the Rams in 99-2000? Payton Manning had a combo like this? Swann/Stallworth? Rice/Owens? Irvin/Harper? Generally a team is blessed with two not three skilled players at this position. Interested if all three can put together a 100yd day on the same day.

you have a much different additude this time, it`s much better and I hope it stay`s this way, good luck to the Cowboys.
Thank you. I know there might be a few haters come along but I will keep in mind not all negative comments are from haters. Chiefs are off to a good start! Your offense has added some playmakers and your defense is playing lights out. The NFL has become a league where there is a very small line between a champion and a bad team. A team can get a couple players and suddenly be among the elite. I guess thats good for football fans. Dallas looked like a contender in 07 and then a very average team in 08 and maybe now its happening again in 09/2010. I hope not.

It'll be interesting to see if Dez can get a 100 yard game soon. I am excited about him! Lets hope hes not a bit injury prone but it might be the fact he missed so much football being suspended after three games last year. However Sean Lee might be proving why he wasn't drafted in the first round. The book on him was that hes had lots of injuries and we are seeing that already. We probably should've addressed the safety or offensive line in the 2nd round but didn't.

Seems to be a very talented trio, and you might see more of Williams by default.
Williams was very good at Texas, was good in Detroit, now in Dallas more cold than hot.
But with Austin established after a fine 09 season, he will be commanding more attention from DB's. I like Austin, like his story(undrafted), runs good routes, very strong lower body...wont be arm tackled and fights for YAC.
As for Dez, I think we all can see what is coming....if he can avoid injuries, and had played the preseason games. Uncanny body control, size and speed. Snatches the ball with his hands and shows explosion. The resume isn't there yet, but Bryant will be a force and Jones was wise to draft him.
That being said, the window for Williams may be wide open with opponents focusing in on Austin, Witten, and Bryant. Pick your poison right? Until Williams shows more games like this past one, his opportunities should be there. What he does with those opportunities......?

Dez is not going to get 1300yds for sure...he wont be targeted enough to even warrant that thought...
Dez is sick though and was a good choice for Dallas in Round 1.
The running game came around in game 3 and didnt get enough carries in game 1...we will see vs the Titans in a few weeks.
Williams will not be getting 100+yds every week, but, Roy has made some good catches this season...lets not forget the game winner vs the Skins that got reversed due to penalty.
The thing about it...you got to leave someone 1-1 in that offense...
Austin gets a corner and a saftey over the top obviously...then the other saftey takes Witten with a LB bracketing him on the inside...then what? That leaves Roy and Dez 1-1 and that is why they have the production they do.
Teams are having to pick the lesser of 4 evils when deciding on Austin, Williams, Witten or Dez...the good thing...any of them can have 100+yds and a score or two in any week.
Dallas' coaching staff has their work cut out for them and we will see if they earn their money this season.

The problem of not having enough balls to go around...is a good problem. Unless one of the players develops a T.O. complex. To keep defenses off balance, keep spreading it around.
If the line can give Romo enough time to find the open one, they should all post good numbers at years end. Tough setback for Kosier.

I posted that Roy would get 11 TD's and 700 yards this season and everyone ripped me - he will he would have one more TD if not for Barron. He might fall short on TD's but he is one of the main threat in the redzone - he may get say 10 tds and an extra 100 yards.
Now of course he is entering a contract year so factor that in much like his 1.3k yards at Detriot before that contract year.

seemed to me that Romo would have never gotten that pass off if Barron had not held on that play

Your prediction sounds realistic...
Roy had just under 700yds last season with 7 scores...so, add in Brayant and Roy will see his fair share of 1-1 matchups in the redzone.
I do not think Roy will ever see another contract like the one he just had and if he doesnt have a decent year, it will not be with the Boys either.
I think that Roy gets beat up way too much...granted, he is overpaid, but that is Jerry's money, not ours...
With so many guys, there is only so much production one can have.
