I've been reading all the smack talk about the TX and their season, how Boise is over rated and how they don't play anyone, how this team is going to beat that team. Being a long time Husker fan I've learned to wait till it's all over this is CFB and any thing can happen. No TX is not the team of the past so they turn from championship contention to spoiler. Now I might throw a little smack here and there but always in the back of my mind is the great Husker teams that lost. Doesn't take away the fact that they were a great team. I can't see the future but I can remember the past. So PLEASE stop running TX down 1 bad year doesn't take away the fact at how important of a game it is for Neb.

We all must admit that Bama is the team that is a head above all others, but this is CFB and any thing can happen which means they can be beat as well as any team out there. I mean after all they are in the SEC and it is the toughest conference this year. But with teams like Oregon, TCU, and Boise who knows how it will turn out.

What I'm saying is I will save my smack talk till it is all said and done. TX has me nervous not because they are a great team but because I can remember the past and nothing would please TX more than derailing Neb chance at the championship and what all of you forget no TX is not that good ( they are a young team ) but they have one thing no one else has, Mac Brown, so I'm not going talk smack until it's all over.

So beware talking smack before the fat lady sings is playing with the football gods. I learned this in 1981 when I bragged about the Huskers. Lost a ton of money and a lot of face, but I learned don't talk smack till it's over. So I'm just thankful we have TX at home.
