NFL  > Dallas Cowboys  > For First Time In Years NFC East Looks Rather Timid
October 3, 2010, 09:00 PM
The Cowboys were favorites to win the division and have started out only 1-2? The Skins and Eagles are both 2-2? The Giants even if they win tonite vs Chicago will only be 2-2? Unless the Cowboys can start playing like late last year the division is very average. No very good teams nor any bad teams. I think the Cowboys in the next month will prove the 0-2 start was no indication of the team they have this year.

I would have said the Eagles were a great team, but with Vick down they are far from it.

I said it before, the Cowboys needed to beat the Redskins and get off to a good start with their schedule. Because it really doesn't get better for them it gets worst. But the good news for them is that New Orleans, and the Vikings are playing about average football. Still the Cowboys, in my mind did not beat a great team in Houston. But they did beat an NFL team to their credit. Only time will tell what kind of team they will be. It is still early and they could either choke or rise to the occasion.

you should just be more concerned about the dolphins tonight and not what the cowboys have going on..d@mn can we get break during our off week or what?

Nah, timid is not it...

Balance is more the key...

Dallas opened 0-2, the Giants are up and down week to week...

The Eagles lost Vick and are now back to Kolb who is not near as good and the Skins are still trying to improve...

Toss in the fact that we play the AFC South and NFC North this season and you got some tough games...

I would not be surprised if the winner of the division has only 9 wins...10 will do it for sure!!!

I'll always claim the NFC east is the best division in football, It's funny how all 4 teams have issues on the O-line... The most critical games will be against eachother.

As you can see even for the rest of the league The Rams, Lions, Browns and Chiefs aren't going to be the cake walks they used to be.. Even the Panthers gave the Saints a rough time. Quarter of the season is over and it's quite wide open.. from what I seen "Any Given Sunday" is a term that rings more true this season then any other season I can remember.

Actually, Dallas is ranked #1 in the NFL in Sacks NOT allowed.

They have only 1 sack in 3 games and rank 11th in hits too....Dallas's line is healthy and playing well..

There seems to be a lot of pairity across the board this season and the NFC East is included in that...

I still think Dallas will pull it off though...

The Giants have a variety of issues, the Skins are not playing good Offense at all and the Eagles just took a hit with Vick and Kolb sucks...

Who knows though....time will tell.

The Giants look like their defense might be up for the rest of the season. This league is crazy. The Bears beat GB and Dallas and lose to a team who looked to be sinking fast. Yea 9-7 might win the division. Not happy we are 0-2 in the conference? That Choice fumble still stings.

Geez I guess when you think about it Romo had to be getting good pass protection to put up so many yards. Hes on pace for 5,000 yards a Cowboy first?

Agreed...

And lets not forget that our line was missing Kosier and Colombo in Week1, then came back in Week2 not 100%...it showed by Week3.

Let's wait until week 6-ish and see where everyone stand within and OUT of the Division, see if others fear the bEast or is it the Least.
