Browns took a pretty good hit from the Bengals passing game last week...nice to see they have the Falcons this week...no problem, right?

Going back to the rankings, San Diego's really stands out. They are top ten in all four categories Offensive yards, offensive points, defensive yards, defensive points yet they're 2-2. This is pretty typical for the Chargers in September and October. Norv Turner never fails to dig himself an early hole but the bolts have the talent to get out and really go on a tear. I thought earlier this year this might be the year Philip Rivers and Turner finally break through. They definitely have the talent around them but they have to put it all together on the field.

Other spots, Falcons are holding steady at the number 2 spot. The Jets have climbed up. Be careful New York faithful, the Packers were top of the heap after beating down Buffalo. They've since taken a bit of a tumble.

Biggest tumble this week is Da Bears. That massacre was even worse than it appeared on the score board. Early this year Chicago had the top rankings in both offense and defense. They're threatening to fall off the map. This should put a little urgency in Lovie Smith to get this ship righted

Stats don't mean a darn thing unless you win. I'd rather have poor stats and make the playoffs rather than glossy stats and sit at home.

Yeah but I'd be worried as hell if I were winning yet my stats were poor like Cardinals or Jaguars. Consequently if I'm the Cowboys or Chargers I have to be feeling pretty good.

I'm picking the Falcons to win but the weather could be a factor. If Ryan can't throw effectively, the two running games are about even at this point.

I'm not a fan of the Eagles or the Redskins but the Redskins beat the Eagles and they are rank 26th while the Eagles are 6th

The won but their stats for the year so far have been pretty abysmal. Philly is still costing from the Michael Vick games and the beatdown they put on Jacksonville.

It's not me. It's the math.
