The most powerful man in sports has given the U of O (BOO!) $100 million dollars, mainly to build a new basketball arena. I find it revolting how the university is bending over backwards to accommodate one of the most pernicious influences in global business, a man who makes shoes for thirty cents and sells them for $300, whose "research" has not resulted in substantial improvements in athlete performance and safety, who gives tons of money to athletes for endorsements and only pays any regard to their character when they foul up, and who is now attempting to give his alma mater an enormous competitive advantage it does not deserve and, if past experience is any indication, is going to throw away with bad decisions.
