NFL  > General NFL  > Green Bay...Over Rated
October 10, 2010, 04:44 PM
The Green Bay Packers showed their hand today, as a soft team, with no killer instinct...IMO they are vastly over rated, and have a extremly tough schedule to play still...keep on losing, the Bears will need all the help they need to get in to the playoffs...lol

A little strong to say over rated... They been hit hard with injuries.. Both TE went down today, Barnett, Grant.

All 4 teams in your division are either better or worse than their record shows... Anyone other than the Panthers, the Bears would have been humilated again.

Fit hits the shan once in a while... Some teams get covered in it (packers) some teams are able to hide from it (Bears)... It's all the same crap!

October 10, 2010  05:35 PM ET

Is their any team that is what anybody thought they would be at this point? The trouble with those crystal balls are they are prone to cracks.

Do you want Credit for Todd Collins...LOL Really? Ok,Yeah Todd Collins should take over the starting Job now..Big QB dilemma in Chicago now!!!

I give the Bears Defense all the respect in the world but I stand by ANYONE OTHER THAN THE PANTHERS this would have been a another beat down.

No not necessarily Todd Collins, the Bears as a team in General.

So they would have lost to any of the other 30 teams?

October 10, 2010  06:06 PM ET

At the moment, after laying another egg against an underwhelming team, I'm hard pressed to argue that there isn't something wrong in Green Bay.

Agreed HGT, injuries being a big one, there are some who will argue the good teams can overcome Injuries, I personally say some injuries can be overcome however it depends on what player/players it is as well as what position it is along with how many.

Todd collins is part of the team isn't he??

There's about 10 teams that would have took 3 of the 4 INT's for touchdowns

There's about 5 teams that would have posed 150 rushing yards(your weak point on defense) the them

There's another 5 teams that would have stopped forte's 2 big runs.

There's about another 5 teams that would played better on offense and scored 50 points and with one of those RB's breaking the single game rushing record.

You must not have seen the game...the Bears defense totally dominated the game...Carolina never came close to scoring a TD...good game defense

Carolina would have stopped it had they had players in the right positions to...Yeah the Giants pash rush looked good last week, nothing else they did was special...but Chicago is not that bad...are the Giants as bad as they played against the Titans?

LOL..it's the PANTHERS!!! I'm shocked they got 3 points... They should have dominated but can you seriously be happy with your offense???

October 10, 2010  06:27 PM ET

To be totally fair, Chicago was without Cutler and they rolled the Panthers.

Green Bay still had Rodgers and they honked one off to Washington.

The difference is we have a capable offense... You don't know the difference Steve Smith would have made, they still ran for 85 yards

We also ran the ball for 180 yard on you guys also, that's something special concidering who you have on defense!

To be honest...yes I am happy with the offense for the day...did you see them take the week off last Sunday night...IMO if Jay Cutler would have been in, with a run game like that...they might have scored 45 points...did you see Todd Collins QB rating...

Sam the Bears are not the best team in the NFL by far, but they are a playoff team...and you can not ignore 4-1, first place and the tie breaker advantage...GO BEARS

You have a point, but your schedule is brutal...just like ours...come talk to me in 6 weeks and let me see where your Giants are...but you still are up a ass whipping on my Bears...Boy don't I want to see you in the playoffs if we both make it...lol

Yep Collins is a part of the team and not the team,

I'm glad your crystal ball is working cause mine doesn't tell me all the rest of the other 5 team stuff otherwise I'd be a rich man placing bets.

They aren't a playoff team yet.. they haven't faced the Division champs yet!

I agree if Cutler was there, yeah this would have been a blow out because the Panthers are just that weak but you guyshave issues with your coaches, hope you aren't blind to that!

LOL.............Nope we are not blind to it, buried in these threads somewhere is several accounts of the troubles stemming from the coaches to the O-Line. Playoffs well we will cross that bridge if they come to it, to much football to be played for anybody to be talking playoffs.
