All this game proves is that head coach Dennis Franchione is a GREAT Conference USA or Mountain West caliber coach.

The Boyz of Husk's star plummeted in one of the corn fields around Lincoln before the Aggies arrived. It was just in time for Fran & Co. to roll into town and show the crowd what a option attack can do to a poor running defense.

There will be little chance that the Aggies will see this farce repeated. The remainder of the schedule is loaded with ranked Big 12 contenders.

Meanwhile, the Aggies are bowl eligible. What a farce, too!

Who knows? The bowls bucks may be all "Dollar" Bill Byrne needs to forget the big picture and keep Franie one more year.

Let's hope not.
