Cool. I should be working right now, but am goofing off on these boards.
Going to root like crazy for USF tonight, but don't see enough offense from them to compete.
Don't know enough about USF at all. Will be good to see them on TV. Pretty much the only thing that would surprise me would be a tough defensive struggle given what I have seen in the televised WVU games thus far.
BTW, I do like these weekly threads. Here's hoping that this and other ones keep the spam in check this week.

Of course USF plays WVU tonight. WVU lost to LSU. And LSU beat UF.
So a WVU loss hurts LSU's sos, which in turn hurts UF's sos ... but not nearly as much as a USF loss to WVU would.

Nope. I root for USF because I live in Tampa. My wife and several of my siblings all graduated from there. I go to more USF games in person than I do Gator games. I do admit to watching the Gator game with binoculars zoomed in on a tv in a luxury suite in Raymond James stadium while attending USF games. The Bulls are my second team...by a long shot.

One other reason. I graduated from there also. First time I've admitted it on these boards, though I've never said I was a UF grad either. Partly due to feelings I may be discriminated against, and partly because I have some qualms about having mixed loyalties with my alma mater.
There was no football at USF till 20 years after I graduated. My dad played football at UF and we went to a couple of games a year in Gainesville throughout my growing up time. Been fortunate enough to have all my daughters graduate from there. I feel like a Gator and a Bull, and at times it is hard to separate those feelings.

You have it wrong but I wish you were right. I am usually in the cheap(er) seats. I like the end zone.
I try to avoid conflicts with big games but occasionally it happens but when it does I can peer up into the luxury boxes with the binocs and can tell what is happening.
