Well, Texas is my number one team, but i live in Nebraska so they are my number two team. I dont know who is going to win tomorrow. Should i route for Texas? Or Nebraska?

Actually I think you want to "root" for one or the other...

And I kind of agree with JRM here....if you gotta think about it......

I mean if Miss State and OU played I would definitely root for Alabama....just kidding...it would be OU without a doubt

If you have to think about it, neither team's faithful want to claim you.

Don't know if you are completely serious or not, but that is kind of the discrimination one can get when they claim two schools. Took me a long time to admit it but realize some from the school I didn't graduate from would look down on me and some from the school that I did graduate from will think I am a traitor.

USF played Florida this year also.

Worst game I watched was when Dallas played NO last year...love my cowboys, but was rooting for the Saints. Thought it would be a win/win for me...but it was a lose/lose....

In this situation it all depends on your mood and who you watch with. If you are in a bad mood root against who everyone else is. In a good mood go with the crowd...

I gotta tell you this born a Husker fan for life I lived and loved Texas, I now live in Oklahoma but my husker blood runs deep never stopped cheering for them never will. Sure I root for both teams they are in conference you got to want your conference to win but sorry I want Texas to go down. and would say the same thing if I were in Texas.

I have a friend who has a bachelors and masters in accounting from Texas, a PhD from Tech, and he's on the faculty at Zero U. No question for him. He draws a paycheck from the Sooners, and that's where 100% of his loyalty lies. As for me, my relative loyalties to the 119 D-1 schools are equally unconfused:#1 - Texas#119 - This week's opponent#118 - Texas A&M#2 thru #117 (tie) - other schools. This changes once a year, when the week's opponent is Texas A&M; then there's a tie for #2 thru #118.

I figured that OU would be in there somewhere.... :)

I have a friend who has a masters from Alabama. He made it all the way through the 4th grade ...

I just love some TU fans....not....

TU got very lucky in that the NU receivers kept dropping passes....and Nebraska did NOT look like a 5 rank team.

Sorry but it wasn't really all that lucky. Texas defense played well and forced them to do something their not great at. I know you're just harassing that Texas fan, but give them some credit.

And apparently I can't use correct word forms or use the quote button so take it for what it is worth ;}

Another thing is, living in Nebraska and being a Texas fan, everyone gave me crap on how Texas sucks this year. So when the Horns defeated the Husker's, i was pretty darn happy.

Not sure I believe in luck, but there are things we may never understand. You are correct that Neb didn't look like a #5, since Tx isn't ranked , did neb look like a #28 or maybe 30. Oh yea, grats on MS win and sooners beatdown. I need to pick a second team, since mine kinda sucks.

Most of the TU fans I've met on here are nice, informative and kind of well-mannered (lol) ....some I have met on the outside (including my SoL) are not. But then that could be said of any school...everyone has the "fanatics". ;)

Like OU last year, TU is having a down-time but will bounce back...and I don't think TU's down will be as far as OU's was last year.

There were questions on Neb coming into the game as they hadn't really played anyone, but I think they were way too high, gearing on beating TU due to last year....and their receivers dropped at least 2 TD passes and it wasn't because of the defense.

Interesting that they finally let GG run....kept hearing from FJJ that he couldn't run as well as Colt....looked pretty good to me...and you KNOW Neb hadn't even practiced that part....
