NEB should have an excellent shot at the B10 next year. Don't think TP will leave so it should come down to NEB and tOSU.
QUOTE(#3):
I wouldn't write them off for 2010. They still have a real shot at winning the Big XII on their way out.
What can I say everyone was writing TX off but I told them Texas has one thing and that was Mac Brown heck of a coach. I won't write the Huskers off yet for the north but I always said they are just not there yet. But what Bo has done to the team in just 4 years is amazing. I to will miss the Big 12 good luck.

QUOTE(#5):
It will be interesting to see how Bo does getting the troops ready for Okie Lite next weekend. By my calculations, either 1) someone else is able to beat Nebraska this year or 2) Nebraska exits as Big XII champ.
IMHO OU and Texas are fairly similar, with OU having slightly better skill players. OU should be able to shut down NEB's running attack and beat them in the B12 CC game.
QUOTE(#7):
That would be my guess, but I wouldn't count Nebraska out just yet.I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the concept that a team loses five games in a season, then a half dozen players (presumably the best half dozen) off that team leave for the NFL, and the next season you end up with a team as good as what Zero U seems to be in 2010. I see them, I acknowledge that they are damn good, but my brain still insists there's a freakin' disconnect somewhere.
Perhaps the reloading and then you have a year of experience? Landry doing a lot better than last year, IMO...TU is having the reload this year. Should be OK, especially next year....

One of the great things about this conference this year is any team can beat the other. Neb has talent but they just don't have that leader on the field and there are alot of teams that just haven't had that break out star because they just haven't matured yet to that level. Lots of young players out there, I think OU is one up because of all the injuries they had last year more playing time together. But I can smell it Big 12 Championship, OU has chance to win title, but Neb beats them. Classy exit but I'm dreaming OU and Neb both gotta get through the Tigers.

Mizz hasn't really played anyone yet either....Illinois, McNeese State, San Diego State, Miami(OH), Colorado and TAMU...Their points against is impressive (2nd)...but then what offenses have they faced?
My "Default" Avatar brought the Horns luck. I shall sport it from now till the Horns lose again. That will be in the 2079 NCG by my calculations.

Oh and goodbye Huskers, your a Quality program that will be missed in the BIG 12. Hopefully UTx will have one more shot to beat you before you go.

Glad to have helped out....LOL Don't think that little OU Sooners one you had would have done anything....

The disconnect is that a few players... Broyles, Murray, TLewis, Beal are having ridiculous years. And somehow they are able to hide the OLine and secondary enough to get by.
I half agree with Venables about not grading the Air Force game. But what is his excuse for Cincy? I honestly don't believe they are as good as they seem to be. (And that includes Jones. He is good but his receivers are making him look better.)
Quick plug.. I have seen every game except Utah St. Broyles is an absolute FREAK.

My best wishes are going out to the kid from Rutgers who got his neck broke making a tackle against Army. He's now paralyzed from the neck down. All this congratulatory talk for fans of the winning teams and condolences for fans of teams that lost is all fine and dandy but come on here! No disrespect intended but we're all just spectators, we don't deserve any credit one way or the other. The poor kid is paralyzed and may never walk again.
This is a great thing thing let us know he will be in my prayers, please keep us updated.

I kind of agree with ya. But I think Jones is a fine QB but even though he pretty much has a year under his belt he still is a young QB, and yes the players around him make him look good. I don't think there is a team in the Big 12 this year who can't be beat. I think it will boil down to what Okie St does. If they beat Neb this weekend I think they can make a run at Texas and OU, but if they can't beat a team that's good but just not there yet, they just aren't there yet either.
