NFL  > General NFL  > Looking up!... starting to smile about being a Rams fan again :-)

I know its a little early cause they are still losing but I havnt been this excited for my team in a LONG time. Here are a few reasons I see,

1. Although I will admit I was wrong with my initial observation of Bradford (as many of you know I cursed the front office for that pick stating he would be the next Alex Smith). He has showed amazing progress espically with a WR corps that is either garbage or broken. I am SOOOOOO hoping they draft AJ Green next year!!!!

2. I may be reaching but Chris Long reminds me of a young Jared Allen! High nonstop relentless motor that hits the QB and hits him HARD

3. James Laurinaitis is the heart of the Spags agressive and smart defense. This guy is a beast. He is by far the 2nd brightest spot on this team next to Bradford of course.

4. The O-line looks like its comming together very nicely and improving each week...I still wish we would have taken TE Aaron Hernandez in the 4th instead of Mardy Gilyard. And WE GOT RID OF ALEX BARRON!!! Poor Poor Cowboys. Even if we would have gotten a fat dyslexic kicker that got arrested for making moonshine in his locker and found a dead hooker in his truck......it would have been worth it!!!

5. The coaches seem to instill a toughness that has been sorely lacking and so far they have made good decisions .

6. As you may be wondering... How could this asssshole not mention Steven Jackson?? Well he is just like my 69 Camaro. I love him and he has been very good to us but he has ALOT of miles on him. Good on the track for short stretches but I wouldnt drive it on a road trip...just not reliable to stay healthy

lets trade a 4th round and Mardy Gillard for Steve Smith, then Draft AJ Green or at the very least Johnathan Baldwin. Pair thoes 2 with Clayton!

Can you please let Rivers throw? LOL

October 17, 2010  02:58 PM ET

He's only had 2 good games this year. All the others he has been almost shut down.

it dont help that Rivers throws like a girl with his elbow attached to his hip.

The division is so open..anything can happen!!! I'll be rooting for you guys, your coach helped us to a superbowl. The 7 sacks on Rivers had Spagnuolo written all over it!!
