It's not the Rays.

We won't know until after we play UF. If we beat UF, I'll feel confident saying that FSU is the best in Florida.

October 17, 2010  05:19 PM ET

On paper it appears to be FSU, but I think UF will beat them head to head.

We'll chawin' on Goiter meat this year, boys!

I used to think it was us. Not any more.

I don't think any team in the state has a whole lot of good happening. At least the Noles can say they're "improving" -- the Canes and Gators cannot. Gators are finally suffering from loss of talent/experience, and our OC is in post-Tebow denial. Thank goodness for an open date this week.

If the U would get a solid QB they would be an easy top 10 team, everything else is in place or very nearly so. JH is just too much of a deer in the headlights guy.

You can actually blame Tebow for your plight this year, for his having come back last year. Can you imagine having Newton under center?

Excellent point, Tnerb.

My only hope is Trey Burton continues to develop. Nothing against Brantley but I honestly think the coaches cannot run an offensive scheme that suits his abilities.

There, I said it.

Who is the next guy they go to? Sometimes you have to look down the depth chart and drag somebody up. Of course, sometimes there's no one there to drag up.

6-1, with an undefeated conference record is PRETTY good, IMO.

Remember, we are just one woodshed ass-whipping away from being undefeated :)

No idea who they can go to this year. But leaving JH in for next year will only lead to another 10-2 to 8-4 season. Certainly not bad, but not where they could be with a better QB.

LOL! I knew you'd see things that way, EWO.

6-1 is pretty sporty, I'd agree. But I watched a good bit of that BC game and it wasn't pretty. Some rough spots for both teams.

I saw your post elsewhere about your schedule getting tougher the rest of the way. Not sure UF is all that tough after our last outing. "Rough spots" would be a huge understatement for our problems.

At this point in the season, the Noles are the best team. The one loss was at the #1 BCS ranked team.
