I think the Chargers have been the disappointment of the season personally. I'm torn between them and the Bears for biggest disappointment yesterday.

tough one.... i was not so sold that dallas would win yesterday so i can't say they were too disappointing. maybe for the entire season - dallas would qualify for that.

Yeah, can't forget the Chargers who've turned into the Cowboys West.

The Chargers can blame there GM A.J. Smith, for playing hard ball with their best receiver and O-Lineman...The Bears need to fire Mike Tice, they gave up four sacks where a DB was not touched on his way to the QB, while the Bears had a lineman who blocked nobody on that play and watched...Will it take the Bears losing every game for the rest of the season, to get some compatent coaching...It is like Russian Roullette...

I agree the Bears O-line is terrible, I'm not sure how much you can blame Tice for it though, you can polish a turd all you want and it's still a turd, do we blame the guy polishing or the turd?

It's also like the old saying you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.

Martz and Tice should know how bad the line is though and at least try to gameplan around the inept ways, shifting and motion confused the line or so it seemed, both tackles were seen leaving a DB with a free run at the Q.B. and usually on the weak side were motion left an opening, do we blame the lineman for not picking up the blitzes or the scheme or both.

Speaking of disappointments, I am about to drop Ochocinco from my fantasy team. The guy let me down.

QUOTE(#20):

San Diego is a big, no a HUGE, disappointment at 2-4. As for the Chargers, now they are banged up on top of being bad. And the Patriots are coming to town. Ok, you know I'm not all doom and gloom - looking on the bright side, the Bolts are undefeated at home this year! Haha.

It's crazy because the Chargers are ranked in the top 5 or 3 on both Defense and Offense but in the bottem of the league on Special Teams... 2-4 isn't so bad in chargerland but the turn around should be starting now!

I'm really surprised that Dallas and San Diego are struggling. Who would have thought?

All the talent in the world won't save you from bad coaching.

blame management, blame coaches because they choose the players & choose the schemes ...if the talent can't matchup, then you need to max protect/force running game unless your QB is capable of quick read/delivery, which of course Cutler CANNOT....which was already known 2 yrs ago before giving away the farm to get him, but yet MArtz was still brought in to form an offense that was NOT MADE for JAY CUTLER while spending kings ransom on Peppers instead of a solid Oline....

Martz got his QBs killed even when he HAD a good line. In St. Louis he had Orlando Pace anchoring the line (and I mean ANCHORING)

Don't be too sure that would mean 2 victories for "da Bears"......aside from the pasting they got in Pittsburgh, they have been in every other game this year. Browns could possibly be the best 1-win team right now.................
