I sure think Wade is at the top of the list, I don`t know who Jones will bring in, and maybe he doesn`t either, and thats why Phillips is still teaching leap frog to the Cowboys.
Maybe Jerry decides to try his hand at coaching, who knows.
I'm beginning to think the Bears would be better off selling the team to someone who wants to win and not just settle for being middle of the pack and making a buck, fat chance on that though, I know George Halas is probably turning over in his grave at what Ginny is doing to the team, god rest his sole.
There could be several coaches at the end of this season changing venues with Cowher heading the list and will have his pick of the vacancies, the rest could be swapping teams like partners at a swingers party.
Once Carolina jettisons Fox, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get another head coaching job immediately. Teams without quarterbacks don't win in the NFL. Carolina has done without for a couple of seasons now.

Sure do, next time your down here for Mardi Gras I'll return them says I with a winking wry smile.
John Fox won't be back with the Panthers... It's not he's a bad coach. He would fit well with the Bears, Browns or Bills
Singletary needs to to go back being a DEF. Cord... Again the Browns should jump on that if it happens!
Not sure about Del Rio, His contract is something stupid I never seen before, I think the Jags will be paying him for the rest of his life and putting his grandkids through college..lol
Not sure about Dallas, If Jones can actually find a goat to take the head coaching job he would have done it by now.. Wade is the perfect "Yes Sir, let me help you with your belt and zipper sir" man. Why should Jerry give up free "Hummmmings"

No matter what happens with the Giants, I don't think Coughlin will be back. Whispers of "retirement" are floating around. He has the locker room back for now but things are always hanging by a thread in NYG town.. Our team is young and a new coach would be refreshing, THE CHIN!!!

great coach there... ...giants won't recover anytime soon after he leaves....not with Eli remaining at QB
Not sure what you mean about the Eli comment there... kind of a stupid remark!

Browns are going to be real interesting depending on if McCoy improves off a solid debut. He looks like he'd be a perfect fit for Holmgren's West Coast offense, but Mangini and his crew isn't playing that style.
It's just me but I think Holmgren wants McCoy to play well but not so well that the Browns win games and upset teams like the Saints or the Patriots because that will make it harder to fire Mangini and bring in someone like Jim Zorn or even Jon Gruden.

does anyone know if they've decided to get rid of PROFIT SHARING in NFL ...if so, this is one step closer to getting all the deadbeat owners to shape up or ship out.... unfortunately for big market teams like Bears, enough homers will buy tickets /gear /gamble to keep the bears profitable at 4-12 for decades to come....
There was a Forbes article that showed how the Bears were really squandering their profit opportunities. It was real interesting because it went into all the ways a team can make money.
