Well the NFL has a "call-a-cab" program that will send a luxury vehicle full of amenities and with qualified security to pickup a player no questions asked and free of charge so there's no excuses for this. Hell, the player CAN'T even tip the guys so really.

Yeah well hence the PI and yes we all have our local watering holes within crawling/stumbling distance but if it's available and FREE should you take the chance? As a player I would have this number in my cell 3rd speed dial after my mom, and my agent - it just makes sense.

i thought the ''call-a-limo'' was only in n.y.c./ n.j. for giants-n-jetts [?]
According to the ESPN report it's a "league" perk for the players' safety. They went into great detail about the vehicles (pretty awesome setup SUVs) and the security is mainly ex-cop types that are obvious weapons trained and crowd control capable. That was my source.

The Colts used to have an alcoholic FG kicker and now their Punter is a drunk. Where do they get those guys?
The bars must be pretty good over there

It's good to hear from someone who knows what the area is like. My first thought was he was arrested a little quick and now that I heard a little more about the geography and the weather, I definitely think he was arrested early.
