Romo is a good QB, i think that all those chokes in his first few years gave him a bad rep.

Really?

He is the QB for one of the most popular teams in all of professional sports...

He dates hot women.

He makes lots of money.

And on top of that he is the 2nd most accurate QB in NFL HISTORY!

Tony doesn't commit the penalties, yet he does throw some of the picks...but at least 3 of his picks this season were on tipped balls from other players....not Tony's fault, but shows up in the stats.

He may not have a title to his credit, but not many NFL QB's do.

He is one of the Top 5 in the game...hands down.

I only have Manning, Brady and Brees ahead of him.

Is he over rated...yes

At you current rate that the Cowboys are playing, you should be able to pick up a QB pretty high in the draft...

Honestly I think he'd do better on another team.

Leadership counts and Tony isn't one.

Knock him if you want, but Big Ben is a leader and it shows when he's on the field. That first Lombardi he won in 2005 was in spite of him, but the one in 2008.....he had a great game that day. 21/30 for 256 yards with 1 TD and 1 pick. The game winning TD drive was the stuff of legend, though. There couldn't have been more pressure on him and he came through.

PS, no one has won more NFL games in his first five years in the NFL than Ben.

Tony doesn't know what it means to be the QB of the Dallas Cowboys. Know who said that?

you know... you may have something here. certainly less pressure on some other teams. and dallas does seem to be somewhat disfunctional right now. romo does put up some good stats at times, but stats don't always equate to wins. where dallas ends this season will determine many things... including the futures of coaching staff and possibly many players. romo is likely safe for now, but he does not have an endless time table to lead this team to a SB. i'd say 1-2 yrs tops.

No BG, Romo has not won a SB ......yet. Cutler hasn't either last I saw. Romo may never win one, but then neither did Dan Marino, Dan Fouts, Fran Tarkington, Jim Kelly...the list goes on and on. Not every QB can be a Joe Montana, Steve Young.....(check out his resume with Tampa).......Considering that Romo was NOT even drafted, speaks volumes. Yes, the 'Boys could have had the one (forget his name offhand) that was drafted by the Browns. How many of you were screaming when the 'Boys didn't draft him? How'd he turn out? He got traded didn't he? AND still not starting.

You guys seem to forget that football is a TEAM sport, but blame it on Romo when crap is hitting the fan like it is now. Yes, Romo did the celebrations, Yes, Romo did the PI's, and Yes, Romo does all of the false starts and other nickel and dime things .

Give me a friggin' break.

Romo is not overated. He's a very good QB. Dallas right now is probably the scariest team in the NFL right now. Sure they are in a funk right now, but when does the funk end? This week against the Giants? And if it does. They may win 10 games in a row! I for one would Not want to be playing Dallas right now. Remember that old saying, 'the sun has to shine on the other side of the barn sometime' I think 'sometime' is coming soon!
