So Cain is now the Champion, and Champion very handily. Brock was outmatched and overwhelmed. Does Cain have what it takes to hold the belt? How long will his reign last? Will Brock get an immediate rematch?

Lesnar had the worst gameplan I have ever seen.

"I think I'll come out, throw all my energy away in the first 30 seconds against a cardio freak! Maybe that will work"

Maybe this will put an end to people saying Lesnar's skills are rapidly improving. His footwork and striking are terrible with no head movement. If he can't take you down or press you up against the cage and use his size to wear you out you will have a pretty easy target to hit.

Lesnar embarrassed himself yesterday.

His stand-up technique is pathetic (I don't know what Peter Welch is teaching him), but I thought that if he was able to get a takedown (which he did) he would use his base, weight and strength to grind things out.

But no, Lesnar looked plain average.

And, of course, a 5-2 overall MMA record isn't exactly something for the history books.

I'm a fan of Lesnar, but that was a dominating performance by Cain.

Personally, I would still pick JDS to beat Cain, but I think it would have fight of the year capability.

No way on the immediate rematch i say JDS for next shot
carwin fights lesnar for his shot

Lesnar will rebound....

Cain simply looked awesome! Lesnar needs to work on his standup because like it was said earlier, he looks lost when comes to his standup. I am a semi Lesnar fan and when he took Cain down I thought for sure he was going to be able to keep him there but obviously Cain was well prepared for that when he seemed to have no problem getting back up. Cain definitely impressed me.

CV vs JDS should be an awesome fight, hopefully early in the New Year.

Well his last 2 fights showed alot. He definitly has the potential to come back and take the title but he's needs to step up his overall technique.

If he just goes out and trains the way he has been he'll have a 3rd loss in no time.
