I was watching the Philadelphia Eagles @ Tennessee Titans game today. I had to shut it off. It has been the most embarrassing performance I've ever seen out of a single cornerback.

Early in the 4th Quarter the Eagles led 19-10.
- Then Ellis Hobbs allowed an 80-yard touchdown to Kenny Britt.
- Then Ellis Hobbs allowed another touchdown to Kenny Britt.

Currently, and the game is not over yet, Titans WR Kenny Britt has
7 Receptions
225 Yards
3 Touchdowns

Every single catch was against Eagles CB Ellis Hobbs. On nearly every replay I've witnessed Hobbs stumble, stutter, and practically fall over... leaving Britt completely wide open.

To be fair, the Eagles coaching staff deserves a lot of the blame. Hobbs clearly can't cover Britt yet he's getting no help. There's been no attempt at double-coverage. And the Eagle's best cornerback, Asante Samuel, has been left playing the other side of the field.

Ellis Hobbs single-handedly lost this game.

Why I was not heartbroken when the Pats sent him packing... you had to know something was up, for them to ship him out with their continuous secondary issues.

Indeed. I didn't have high hopes for the Eagles today. But I figured Chris Johnson would be the guy that killed them.
