Happily, I do take note that these Game Day threads receive posts about the "preview" games played earlier in the week.

Nine is Fine.

Besides the Cocktail Party in Jax, there are some other matchups steeped in traditional rivalry or full of intrigue and consequence.

Even if the skies are fair and the winds favorable, I'm staying on the ground this Saturday. The Missus and I are hosting a pumpkin carving party. One of my sister-in-laws will be attending with her second husband - a Limbaughmbie who can grate upon my wife's nerves. I can use his presence as justification for keeping CFB on the Big HD TV throughout. Heh Heh ;-)

At 12:00 noon ET, I'm likely to tune into the Vols at USCe, though the contest to watch at that time is likely to be OK State at K State or Miami at VA.

If the early games are decided or dull, I may tune into the ND - Tulsa game at 2:30 PM until the big shows get underway at 3:30 PM - UGA - UF in Jax, Mizzou at "Their Nebs," MSU at Iowa - definitely going to have the multiview on for these.

Twilight features Stanford - UW, Utah - AFA, and a surprisingly intriguing Baylor - UTx game.

More multi-view at 8:00 PM with OSU at Minne, Mich at PSU, and the Ducks at USCw.

Using annoying relatives to your advantage. Well played.

We looked flat early, but things are coming along nicely now. NC State looked PUMPED when the game started. I don't know what happened to them, but we're definitely in control going into the half.

...of course...that could change...

Thursday's undercard turned into quite a college football game. The Wolfpack scrambles back in the second half. The 'Noles regain the lead. NCSU gets the lead on a late fourth down TD. FSU roars down the field to the Wolfpack four before losing a fumble within the final minute of play. Yep. CFB.

Sympathies, EWO.

Tonight, West Virginy visits UConn. Let's hope for an entertaining game. Anyone care to offer an analysis? Prediction?

Speaking of predictions, who's got some for Saturday's main attractions?
