Well I'll be watching but IF the Cowboys hope to win they must TRY or WANT to win. Someone has to step up. They have enough stars but they must play as a team to win. That's not happening right now.

Pack gets Harris and Bigby back for this one right? I thought they were due back for the NYJ game but i guess they didn't need them
No one is scared of the Packers ... but Dallas is in the process of quitting on their coach. They're not playing with confidence and they're not executing. Wade Phillips said his solution is to work on fundamentals which is a no brainer so ... I think the Cowboys lose.
In other news - sending a strong message to the rest team the Cowboys today released ... ... ... LB Jason Williams. HA! This is the guy they drafted in the 3rd round 2009 (their first pick of that draft) ... after passing on Phil Loadholt (Vikings OL starter) in the 2nd round and trading down.
No offense to Packer fans. What I meant was these guys are professionals - they spend the week studying, practicing etc. Sometimes I think it's too businesslike and then we expect them to crank up the intensity on Sundays.

In the process of quitting on their coach? I think you mean they have ALREADY quit on their coaches...right?
I listened to Brian Broadus (NFL Scout) today on ESPN radio and his analysis of game film was very telling. He thinks they're giving effort but the level of intensity, technique and attention to detail is not there. He was also critical of the "player packages" that Dallas uses which tend to telegraph Dallas' intentions.

Coach Cowher!
QUOTE:
LOL, good one! I don't think JJ will hire Cowher. He would want too much power, like choosing his own coaching staff!
A man can dream, can't he?!!!!

Who else is really out there? Maybe Norv Turner from the Chargers? Sorry, that was a bad joke..
I heard an interesting take on firing coaches this year -- if a coach like Wade Phillips is fired in the middle of this season NFL teams are NOT going to replace them. That would send the wrong message to the player's union - that they expect to play football in 2011.

I think the Jets are scared of the Packers now
Uh, no...

If the Packers offense gets rolling this week the Cowboys just may need diapers! They will be ******* their pants!
I think you're wrong there, Bigwave. My Cowboys have already soiled their diapers and most everything else. Whether they show up to play is anyone's guess. But, if they do, and they start clicking, then this should be a good game. Now mind you, I'm not going to predict a win, but they should at least make it competitive. That's the whole object of the game...competition..and it appears the Cowboys have laid it down. At least they did last week.
I guess we'll see what they're made of.

I Think the Pack will win, but this game scares me a bit. Unless Dallas has nothing but a bunch of quitters its hard for me to believe that they are just going to be going thru the motions Sunday. If they play hard they have a heck of alot of talent on that team, and Kitna can play....

I believe the water boy, or the medical staff could do a better job. They should look into it. Wade is already looking like a lost puppy.

They should go ahead and can Wade asap, and let one of the other coaches, like DeCamillis (sp?) finish out the season. What can they lose? Or, maybe even Campo.....he used to be the HC and his teams at least got to 5-11 three times in a row......They didn't improve, but they didn't get worse either.

I agree!!! Man I kinda feel sorry for you cowboy fans.......kinda lol The problem with JJ is he is never going to hire a head coach that he can't control....and he needs to hire a tough SOB to take over, they need to can Wade right now, it sure as heck can't get any worse....

I hereby elect Bull_Shirt as interim coach of the Dallas Cowboys for the remainder of the 2010 NFL season. Who will second that motion?
