Merriman got PO'd at the draft, because he wanted to be a Cowboy, but Jerry got DeMarcus Ware instead. Which turned out to be 'smart' on Jerry's part, but I think he just got lucky, or drew straws on which one to take.

At least when he did it, players weren't aware of the physical damage they would cause. For players to do it now is just crazy.

I agree wholeheartedly. But, they're looking for an "edge". Which is stupid in itself.

Merriman has looked washed up for the last few seasons.

Moss can still play, it's just his 'tude that gets in the way. If Jeff Fischer can't get the most out of him, that's it. This is his LAST stop.
