Why is that prediction homerism? Who has Dallas stopped this year? Is Dallas healthy on defense? Is Dallas' secondary any good even when healthy?
It isn't being a homer if it's true.
We'll see which prediction comes true though.
won't be close.... dallas might stay in the game till half time, but gbay wins by 2+ TDs if not more. dallas is a shell of a team and will be lucky to win 2 more this season.

QUOTE:
The Packers should beat the Cowboys despite all their injuries. Kitna is a weak armed journeyman QB and the Cowboys are a train wreck.
Kitna is no weak-armed QB, he is not mobile but not a weak armed QB.

It's not, how else could one look at this matchup based on the records? You pointed out some injuries at GB. Matthews is a force in the NFL right now--every week. Dallas has some talented stars who can quickly turn a game around if you let them. Bryant and punts for example. Dallas secondary is non-existent and the entire Defense is already in the off-season so GB should coast if they play simple mistake free football. If GB shows up expecting a W from a 1-6 team they may be surprised but doubtful

"What do you figure the Pack's game plan to be?"
To have Mathews Jr rip Kitna's head off by halftime.
Side question
Who gets more sacks tonight, Clay Matthews or DeMarcus Ware?

Matthews would be my guess, just judging by the mobility of Rodgers vs. Kitna. Rodgers will be able to escape more of Ware's rush whereas Kitna won't be able to outrun Matthews.
If the Packers can avoid being slowed down by injuries and penalties like they did against the Jets last week, they can easily win by double digits. Even without a solid RB, Aaron Rodgers can still thread a defense with his solid receiving corps.
This should be a good game, I hope closer than most think. For Dallas this game will test to see if they still have heartbeat, for Green Bay needs this one to stay in contention in the NFC North, going into November the games start to have a little more meaning.
Packers fans should be nervous. Imagine the embarrassment if they lose this game, on national television. Nah, nothing to worry about. Not like the Patriots will get crushed by the Browns. Oh wait....

Nothing embarrassing about losing to a team that many picked to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. Dalls actually has more talented players than Green Bay but hasn't flashed it yet. A win tonight could start the Cowboys on a roll.

Cowboy Dave, you are correct, this would be a BIG setback for GB to lose this game they are "supposed to win". As you point out there are no easy victories in the NFL......
I don't have high hopes for tonight or any night now regarding this year's Cowboys but I do feel they will win a few more and upset the hopes of some down the line.

Looking good so far. Matthews is camping out in the backfield.
Bryant finally got them on the board. And it may have been ticky tacky, but Dez initiated contact prior to the pass. It probably didn't change the play much though.
I was sort of hoping for back to back goose eggs. As unrealistic as that is.
Wade Phillips will be lucky to get a defensive coordinator position after this season.
