This looks to be a good matchup tonight, Rocker. It appears that both defenses are getting some of their injured players back. This should be a good game.

I hope it is in the Steelers' favor though. I don't think my nerves can take a close game lol.
Wish I could say the same Rocker, but a Cinci win would only help the Browns; but you know how it goes!

I'm for the Bengals cause it would help the Browns. The Steelers will be tough to defeat.

I hope it is a good game for the sheer fact I dislike a snore fest! (i am quite sure it won't be that)I am taking the Steelers, I have thought the Bengals were a tad over rated just because they got "celebs" on their team!
Cinci is desperate, but I still think that Steelers win.

They should, but I think it is up to the other defensive backs to help Troy stop T.O. and Ochocinco.

I am going for the Bengals...I could never root for a pervert, plus this is EZ's team...Go Bengals...lol
I agree.
Last week vs. the Saints they kept an extra tackle in to protect against the blitz. This gave Drew the time to hit downfield. I'm thinking the Bengals might do the same.
I'm also hoping LeBeau hit the chalk board and found a way to beat that so we can get pressure on Palmer.
The Saints last week also went with a lot of blitzes and it worked. Ben wasn't able to let the guys get downfield...I'm hoping he spent time on that this week because I anticipate the Bengals doing the same.
I think the key is going to be getting on track with the run early. If we can, it will take pressure off Ben.

Whew! THAT was unecessarily too close..... Despite the officials best efforts, the Steelers overcome a multitude of ? calls to turn away Carson Palmer/TO/Ochostinko & Co. This game was 27-7 until the refs started getting active....
Please answer me this....HOW can you commit a personal foul without even TOUCHING someone? ( Flozell Adams apparently was able to do this...not even spitting, like LaRon MacClain ) That WHOLE series of plays including the Roethlisberger INT, up to the ensuing Bengals TD, was pure kafka ( look it up ).....Anyway, the difference in the ending of THIS game vs the Cincy game last year, was the stop Polamalu made on the WR at about the 10yd line on the final drive. Last year, the safety wasn't able to help out the LB and keep the WR out of the end zone.....
Three final observations: #1:It's time to seriously consider drafting a quality CB to replace B'Mac....He got TORCHED by TO whenever he was in single coverage ( 2 TDs, could have been more...) #2:Also, I must admit, that, when properly motivated, TO is still a top-tier WR and pretty much beats single coverage by 99.9% of the CBs out there......#3: Jeff"Skippy" Reed has played his last year for the Steelers. He has NO range anymore and ends up pulling or pushing the ball on longer FGs, PLUS he can't get the ball into the end zone on KOs.....
