It was only a matter of time. Wade had lost complete control of the team and now one of his assistants will need to pickup the pieces. Maybe this will jolt some life into that corpse.

According to the IT guy in my office who spends all day working Fantasy League issues; i'm still looking for proof on a more reliable on-line source. If I'm wrong then a round on me at Tipsy's.

I figured they might beat Minnesota, Jacksonville, Detroit, Washington and Arizona AFTER the Giants game, but now.......I don't know that they will beat anyone. I don't think Garrett is going to get the job done.
Now, think about this. As far fetched as it likely is, what do you think of the possibility of Jones and Garrett "worked" to get it to where Wade had to go, so that Garrett would take over? Jones did hire Garrett BEFORE Wade, and from what I understand, as a "head coach in training", and Jones did over pay him to stay instead of going to Atlanta or Baltimore.
Maybe very unlikely, but possible.

Well Jerry handed the keys to Garrett and some of the media heads here in Dallas are saying that if Garrett goes 4 - 4, he could be your next HC; not good news for those of you wanting his head as well.

I don't think he will. They "might" win 2 at the most, and that's Detroit and Arizona, and I seriously doubt that. We'll see. It sure can't get any worse.........or can it?

I'm with you in that I don't see this team rousing the troops as it were and going .500, or you'd better hope not or you could be stuck with Garrett. Also you should never ask if it could get worse, it's one of those question you don't want answered.
poor Jason Garrett....finally gets the head coaching reins and what awaits him?
taking America's Most Pathetic Team into the Meadowlands to face yet another beatdown by the hottest team in the league....at least it's not another prime-time thrashing

You're probably right Al..........lol....I don't want Garrett as a HC, but it's not up to me. Jason Garrett was always a back up QB during his career for a reason. Now, I'm not questioning his knowledge or intelligence, but sometimes these "smart" people (Ivy League school) don't always have common sense.

I've seen you posting here for several days now, and I've been ignoring your smart remarks. Were you weaned on lemons, per chance, and left you with a bitter taste in your mouth? Every comment you make seems to be laden with bitterness for some reason.

Yeah it's not one of the games I thought they would win; could be a full curb stomp - public and messy.
can't see JJ giving giving Garrett this job long term under any circumstances, but you never know. and i can't see dallas going .500 the rest of this season. maybe 1 or 2 wins, but this team could also be a 1-15 team too. they may get a little spark from the change, but if the giants destroy them line GBay did it won't last. and is garrett the kind of personality that can inspire the players? get them playing to their potential? he seems to have a little more "fire" than wade did, but at times i wondered if wade was awake on the sidelines.

Not a chance, this was too painful to try and get from point A to point B. There are easier ways. No this mess is the result of lots of mismanagement. . Garrett will do no better, the team has cashed in. Campo is NOT qualified to run the defense, hell he can't get the DBs to perform. Ball is the worst Safety I have ever seen, he must have peanuts for brains.

The players won't "fear" any of the current coaching staff; and I don't mean physical fear but respect really. NO ONE on this current staff can remain after January. Even if there are a few bright position coaches they must get thrown out with all the bathwater.....

You couldn't keep Wade after last night.
You're right it hurt to watch. I suspect Wade THANKED Jerry after the meeting today, sort of like taking the life support off after you've been trapped in a bed until you're covered in bed sores.....just let it end.
