NFL  > Green Bay Packers  > Adios Al Harris

A great player and classy guy, Al Harris was released by the Packers today. The Pack has some emerging players at the CB position with Tramon Williams and Sam Shields so this doesn't come as unexpected. Green Bay will always welcome you back Al...my favorite Harris play was the infamous "We want the ball and we're gonna score" play where after Hasselbeck announced that, he picked him off and ran it back to the house, in the playoffs nonetheless! As i said, a great player and classy guy, some team is gonna get very lucky picking this guy up...

I think that he might look pretty good in a Browns uniform.

*wonders who else will be losing their jobs in the NFL this week*Pre-game shows were pretty sure that Childress and McDaniels would be let go before Phillips was. Shows what they know! LOL

I think that Chilly would go before McDaniels....this is only Josh's 2nd year, so he might be afforded a little more time in his experiement. I'm guessing that the Chiefs might add him to the team if Denver does cut him loose....why not? Collect the whole ex-Pats staff!

He'll be a good fit on most teams, unless the surgery REALLY slowed him down...

He'd be a great cover corner.

Harris is 36 years old isn't he? Maybe a better fit at safety? I doubt Cleveland would make a move to get him, since they seem poised to stick with younger guys.
