Mike Shanahan has done a surprisingly, terrible job in Washington.
I felt as though Denver made a tremendous mistake in letting him walk, but this season, he's giving them no reason to regret firing him.

You're right about that. For the 'Skins to play as poorly as they have for 2 games is really food for thought. And it reflects on the coach.

He should be. His team helped to contribute to one of the worst defeats this season.

Just prior to the last two losses and before the bye the Skins media and fans were optimistic here in DC, what a rapid turn around. I left town on Monday night so missed the talk shows in DC on Tuesday--i can't imagine the rage from the fans

I can't and can since I know Redskins fans. I feel like the coach is not preparing the players and not adjusting to what other teams are doing to them. The last 2 games are saying that to me. Didn't run the ball against the Lions to slow them down. Did not do a good job against the Eagles' pressure defense or Mike Vick. But in their defense, a lot of teams are having issues with Vick.

Well said.....it is the fact that an Eagles QB is sending his jersey to the Hall of Fame by way of request for it, for a remarkable individual performance that was a historic event. There aren't enough superlatives to define the dismantling of a division foe with a national audience on MNF, and the manner it was done. Hats off to Andy and his coaching staff for doing a phenomenal job coaching up Vick's mechanics and how to play the QB position at it's highest level...with the abilities that Vick has, to run... or launch it 60 yards with authority.
Vick = love him or hate him....he is the most dangerous QB in the NFL right now.

He should be the MVP with continued play of this sort. The Eagles have to be consider the best team in the league with him at the controls. The boast of a lot of talent on offense.

Yes, and most of that talent is young too. It's impressive how Reid and the personnel people in the front office were able to rebuild on the fly, and still were able to make it to the playoffs. Now, it's starting to pay off. The McNabb trade (which they took a lot of flak for in the media) helped too. Nate Allen has been a good ballhawking safety, and he's only a rookie. I wonder who they'll draft with the 4th round pick they still have coming.

It should be interesting.
