And worse yet, Sanders did NOT get a fine for the hit on Hines Ward. It was helmet to helmet and Sanders led with his helmet but no fine so I say, " The NFL is Bias"

Where were these Steelers whiners at the end of the Miami game...lol

We had 163 yards in penalties yesterday.
At least 60 of that was bogus.
That's why we're saying something.

Whining is whining...accept your victory and move on...
I could understand your gripe, if their was one play that changed the game completely...that is not he case...but I did not hear any whining against the Dolphins a few weeks ago...lol
Being a blowout, i was able to laugh at the calls...was hoping to hit 200 yards in penalties...
The hit [b]below the name tag[b] by Clark (not Taylor), that was called a helmet to helmet hit, was the worst of the bad calls.
We will soon see how serious the league is in wanting to protect their QB's....

I take the opposite view. If it were only one play I wouldn't be saying anything about it. I think teams can and should overcome one bad call - as with the Dolphins a few weeks ago that you keep bringing up.
Fast fact: That wasn't the last play of the game. They had over 2 minutes to move the ball, and all they needed was a FG to win. They barely got a first down.
Single bad calls happen to teams...witness the Steelers - Colts playoff game of 2005 where the Troy Polomalu INT was overturned on review. The NFL later sent us a letter saying they screwed up. We didn't let it determine the outcome of the entire game.
This was more than a little lopsided, BG. We were being given 15 yards penalties for things we didn't do time and again.

I also liked the "full body wieght" penalty on Harrison.....is 83% of your body wieght OK?...how about 73%?

WTF are yoiu talking about the Dolphins overcome, having a game stole from them right under there nose...RIGHT
If the Dolphns get the ball at the 20...the game is over, Steelers had no time outs left...
And the reason I keep speaking on the Dolphins game, is that there were a few Steeler fans that came out and said bad call...Kudos to them for having strong character, and admitting the facts...the rest of you Steeler fans cry, gripe, and have excuses even when you win...

As I said, you have to be able to overcome a bad call.
They had two minutes and the ball. If they get a FG on that drive, that call is a non-issue. The refs went by the rules, plain and simple.
I heard the same stuff from Seahawks fans after SB XL. They complained about Ben's TD but had nothing to say about allowing a 37 yard pick up on 3rd and 28, nor anything to say about Hasselback mis-managing the clock on the 2 minute drive there.

Easy Deuce. You have a point, especially regarding the Miami game, but that game yesterday was pitiful. They called Ike Taylor for interference because in running stride for stride with the receiver, he impeded his route to the ball. Last time I checked, that was called excellent man to man coverage. They didn't call him for holding. They didn't say anything about illegal contact. It was the most laughable call of the game. He was flagged because he did his job very well. The call on Clark was abject stupidity.
Jack in fairness, I did not see the game...but I do not understand the constant whining from certain Steeler fans, when you win...
There are bad calls every week, some impact the game more than others, and my post is not about any bad calls in the Raiders game, but how some fans constantly whine each and every week regardless of who wins...Now if there was a blatant mistake made like the one commiteed against the Lions in week one...I could understand, but that is just me...Kudos on the Victory to you and all of Steeler Nation, even the whiners...lol
That open handed shove that dropped Ben was hilarious! If they set up a fund I'll send a dollar to help Seymour pay the fine.
Love seeing the Pittspuke fans cry and whine about calls against them.

Rayne it is over and done, but this it what I saw a few weeks ago...Your QB fumbles and a Dolphin recoverd it, in the endzone...touchback...plain and simple, the ruling was absurd, I saw the Dolphin come out of the pile with the ball...the refs don't have access to the same video...
So I am suppose to believe you, or my lying eyes...
Why is it that when somebody comments about the officiating, others see the need to bring up past calls that went in a team's favor like that makes everything okay. I'm sure the Bears (and every other team) has NEVER benefitted from a call in a game before. Paleeze. One has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OTHER!
The phantom roughing the passer on , the BS helmet to helmet on Clark when the hit was BELOW the shoulder pads, the unbelievable pass interference call on Taylor when he was just doing his job and the ridiculous roughing the passer on Harrison negating Taylor's pick 6 are the epitome of horrendous calls.
I've been watching football for over 35 years and that is the worst officiated game I've ever seen. Tunch Ilkin and Craig Woofley on the Steelers's radio broadcast said the same thing. Whether the Steelers won or not is irrelevant.

But that's not the rule.
When you have a fumble you also have a pile. The refs must sort through the pile to see who has the ball. In this case, they didn't. Once they signeled TD, there was no need. A Dolphin came out with it, but if TD had been signaled, it's also logical that the other guys quit fighting for it.
So, the refs didn't have the visual proof they needed to make the call. Now, you can make the point that they should have sorted through the pile, but that's a different argument.

I respectfully disagree...they put in a new rule in a few years ago called the "Ed Hochili" rule, to resolve situations like Steeler & Dolphins ruling...so that a major referee screw up does not change the outcome of a game, like that one...
The Steelers & Dolphins call was the second worse call of the season, next to the Calvin Johnson call...Both calls were the wrong interpretation of the rule the were enforcing.
In the off season expect them to try to fix both of those rules.
Raider fan here. Several calls were horrible. I stopped writing them down in the middle of the 2nd quarter. Luckily, the calls didn't cost Pittsburgh the game since the Raiders failed to show up.
