Wonder what the fine AND suspension would have been had it been James Harrison punching Tom Brady???....................;)

I don't necessarily believe there is a bias against the Steelers, the officiating has been generally awful this year. But for Seymour, a REPEAT OFFENDER. to only get a 25k fine is COMPLETE BULL$#*!
--Seymour was fined $7,500 by the NFL for stepping on Indianapolis Colts offensive lineman Tarik Glenn during a November 5, 2006

wasn't he a first time offender.. I believe that is why the fine was set as such. Is that true?
NOPE!!

Not a first time offender, but first this year. From ESPN:
He was punished twice by the league last season, getting a $7,500 fine for pulling the hair of Denver offensive lineman Ryan Clady and being docked $10,000 for hitting an opponent after the play in a game at Cleveland.
But I don't believe a suspension is warranted in this instance. He was ejected and fined, which is appropriate.

So let's look at this piece of ****'s track record.
Stepping on another player, pulling hair, hitting after the play and hitting after the play again.
This only warrants a 25k fine?? I guesss the previous fines really taught him a lesson. Sounds like Seymour should change his name from Dick to Pussey.

Wow. I guess there's no doubt where you stand on this issue ;-)

Every team in the league has games where the officials make poor calls. There is no vendetta or conspiracy against the Steelers although you wouldn't know it by all the complaining in here. I brought up a valid point and you can only respond like a jerk.
Valid point? "Whine, whine, whine" is a valid point? In what reality Sparky?
You insult other people and when it's slung back at you, all you can do is turtle and cry like a little girl. You want to dish it out, you better be able to take it. Now go cry to mommy, the adults are talking.
Ok, after seeing the play many times I haven't seen a "dive" like that since the Seldon vs Tyson fight.
Big Ben went down (STS) like a big girl! How many times has Ben withstood hits 50x greater in the pocket? Props to Big Ben for reacting so fast and collapsing like a house of cards off of that little tap, made it look awful, I bet he had been talking to the kickers on tips to get a flag for "roughing".
With that said Seymour was a fool to do it, I suspect he did it because Big Ben was asking him for turkey recipes for the holiday.....NOT!
So how about for a minute you Pittsburgh fans set aside the emotions, look at this from a point of view of an NFL fan and see it as the sort of thing that goes on in nearly every game and quit this campaign to right this wrong? Nothing is going to change and at this point I hope you can see that your position is falling on deaf ears and in the words of Old #4 you're coming off as whiners. I think even Big Ben has forgotten about this by now.
Oh and I was a bit surprised that the Steelers near Ben immediately went to help him up rather than take Seymour's head off. That's NOT what Jack would have done; his priorities would have been a bit different. Seymour first, Ben can get his own **** off the ground.

Have to question that b/c one would assume that Seymour's sister must look a bit like him, maybe even a lot like him.....

Ben absolutely took a dive...that seems to be his character as far as I can tell. None the less, it is foolish and dangerous to do what Seymour did. In the old days that may have been and all out brawl after a fowl like that! Anyway, the league should have sat him a game. JMO (despite the flop)
Flop! I like it, like in the World Cup, those "footballers" are the king of flop. Maybe the trainers should have come out and sprayed Ben with whatever magic those Soccer Trainers keep in that freaking aerosol can, seems to work like magic.

Ain't that the truth!
And the refs apologized for the poor job they did in the Superbowl when the Steelers won over the Seahawks.
If your theory was true, wouldn't the refs be apologizing to the Steelers because they would have been the ones screwed and lost the SB?
This is getting sad.
