I am more of a UFC fan, I have tried watching SF especially when they came to Nashville this year. I felt like it was a WWE event with all the fighters coming out to fire and strobe lights, just wasn't feeling it.

The more I read your comments the more I feel you are just a strikeforce hater. It's not about what goes on outside the Circle/octagon/ring. Although you do recall Tito Ortiz used to have a bit of the WWE entrance going on back in the day.
What matters is:
1. do you have Showtime? If you don't then the question is obvious, you'll be watching TUF finale.
2. Do you have both Showtime and Spiketv? #1 you can DVR one of them. If I'm going to choose which one to watch 1st I'm gonna choose Strikeforce. Why? look at the card.
Henderson vs Babalu, Lindland vs Lawler, Daley vs Smith, Silva vs Kyle. Not a bad line up at all.

lol, No I am not a SF hater, I just don't like the fighers, just because I choose 1 brand over another doesn't make me a hater. I don't bash on Scott Coker for the league. Yes I do have Showtime and Spiketv, I don't get into the TUF shows as much I only buy the ufc ppv events which is starting to get expensive lol. I love watching Cyborg I think she is mean as they come and will watch some of Diaz fights but other then that not too much into Strikeforce. I was very disappointed when they came to Nashville and started to brawl in the ring after Jake dominated Henderson. I think picking up Paul daley was a good pick up and I will be watching him this weekend.
You just said it yourself, your choosing 1 brand over the other. Its about the fighters not the Brand. Just because one guy fights under the UFC name and another fights under the Strikeforce name does not make one guy better than the other.

Yeah but the quality of competition what makes the difference, so are you telling me that SF competition is much better than the ufc overall??

No I know the UFC has the better overall pool of fighters but it doenst mean everyone of their fighters are better. Not by a long shot.

Other then HW what SF champions would knock the ufc champions?? Or even contenders.

Not every one of the fighters but prob around 90% are better
Guys like Fedor, Overeem, Barnett, Werdum in the HW, Mousasi, Lawal, Cavalcante in LHW,
Souza, Lawler, Lindland, Cung Le, Smith in MW, Noons, Thompson, Diaz in WW, and Aoki, Thompson, Malendez in LW. All these guys Are top competition where ever they fight.
Yes Iknow the rosters are not as deep but the competition of the top fighters is just as tough.

The HW can go both ways so I am not debating on that class but other than Noon and Cung Le the rest wouldn't do much in the ufc. SF only has a hand full overall but the ufc competition is too thick to stay relevant in the sport. Jake Shield first match in the UFC struggled to get a W against a subpar fighter.
QUOTE(#12):
I'll be watching both. Will start of with UFC because it starts at 9 and SF starts at 10. I'll DVR SF and be a little behind. As far as the cards go, I actually like the SF card better. Although the UFC has better fights than people think. The Story-Hendricks fight is going to be a war.
The ufc card is just a finale card nothing really special, Bonner will make an exciting fight as usual and Mia puts me to sleep. I am actually a Paul Daley fan and will be rooting for him this weekend.
QUOTE(#15):
Trust me on the Story-Hendricks fight. Two top up and coming WW's. Everyone is about names, and look past guys like Story and Hendricks. In a year or 2 the casual fans will be saying, "Can't wait to see that Story or Hendricks fight."
Oh yeah I forgot about Hendricks-Story fight, Story is tough and Hendricks is a smooth fighter. Thats going to be a very good fight.
Uno, there's little bearing in which organization has the better fighters.
I don't care how many elite fighters UFC has, if they are not in the card at hand! :)
With that said, IMO SF beats UFC card by far this Saturday, but with all fairness, neither are trully exciting.
As jim pointed out, I will start with UFC since it starts earlier. but I'll switch to SF, and DVR the rest of UFC one for later.

Where the hell have you been?
I've been here & there... you? :)

Stop the presses!
Welcome back, Roni.
I agree with you that neither card is truly exciting (I certainly would pay for either) but I'll still be staying in this Saturday eve to catch both.
I curious to see how/if Hendo bounces back.
Hopefully there will be a Saturday eve live thread this weekend.
