Your list is all UFC

No won't get any heat from me, this is your opinion that???s the fun part about sports.

Oh yeah I am a huge ufc fan. If Jake was still with SF I would have still ranked him in my top ten. If Mousasi would have beaten Lawlal he would of cracked number 9 or 10 but he dissapointed me big time against Lawlal, he did not look like a champ that fight and made me second guess him.
QUOTE(#12):
I think Machida just needs to try to be a little more aggressive. He did more damage, but he basically looked like he was just avoiding contact for the first two rounds. I was not surprised by that decision.I probably went out on limb a little with JDS, but I think that his boxing skills would translate very well across many different weight classes.
I agree Machida lately has been looking like he fights to not lose rather than to win. I think if he was more aggressive then the outcome would have been different, not saying he would have won because he could have been caught by one of rampages punches.
JDS boxing ability is incredible and it would translate to different weight class. I want to see how he would react if he fought a top wrestler or BJJ that will take him on the ground. Cain is a great wreslter and striker, I think he would be too much to defeat.
My P4P is a bit whacky.
1) Fedor
2) Silva
3) GSP
4) Aldo
5) Shogun (when healthy)
6) Melendez
7) BJ
8) Cain (if he keeps up)
9) Shields
10) Mousasi
Fedor is top because he has been the most stable at the top.
Silva wins over GSP as he is way above his competition whils GSP is also, he has to work way harder to beat his opponents. he also lose points (IMO) for being so conservative.
Aldo Might pass all 3 above him if he keeps dominating like he's been doing.
Shogun still has to prove to me his issues have been health. Maybe now he'll be able to keep the level he displayed against Machida.
Melendez was the 3rd best in LW. The he beat Aoki. Then BJ lost twice... IMO that makes him climb the ladder to the top of LW division. He is also 18-2 and beat both guys who beat him earlier.
BJ still phenomenal MMA athlete... if he keeps focused.
Cain - I think it is still a lot of hype. But can't fight the results and the way he beat Lesnar.
SHields is the P4P most boring int he world. But with no losses since 2004, can't really ignore him forever.
Mousasi deserves to be higher IMO. but as he lost to King Mo, I gave him a penalty... I'm sure he'll climb back up :)
QUOTE(#15):
Not too wacky at all... Frankly, I would've been a little disappointed in you if you hadn't kept you guy at #1. The rest is justifiable. I'd like to see how Mousasi does against another wrestler. Call me crazy, but I'm still not sold on Cain...
Neither am I. But he keeps proving me wrong.
After Kongo, I said "he has no chin and can't submit a guy he dominates for 3 full rounds"
After Ben, I said "He has pillow hands. Big ben didn't feel his punches and it was a terrible referee stoppage
After Nog, I said "Unfortunately, it is Nog that is getting old"
but After Lesnar, what can I really say??? :)
I think people would **** because BJ is higher on my list than Cain or Shields (despite my hate for the guy)
hehehe that's the thing. I count P4P as raw talent.
I don't see how BJ became a bum (at least for the list) just because he lost to Edgar.
And I don't consider Frankie a top P4P just because he beat BJ. This is simple style. He has one that BJ can't handle. But I don't think he is as talented as BJ or any fighter on my list.
Like Cain, he can prove me wrong though.
But IMO a P4P list is not as volatile as people make them.
