Wait....everyone's been saying that TCU should be in the NCG...and now they are so bad they shouldn't be in the Rose?

I have no problem with TCU playing in any BCS bowl, including the Rose. I think they will give the Badgers all they can handle.

My complaint with the BCS is that UConn and Va Tech will be playing in BCS games while Boise, Sparty, LSU etc. will be watching on TV.

WTF? Stanford is guaranteed a BCS game? Pull your head out?

I think he's upset for traditional reasons. It's good that Stanford will get a BCS bowl (not yet guaranteed but it looks that way) but he wants that bowl to be the Rose Bowl. Unfortunately it's the Rose Bowl's turn to host the non-AQ team. The other bowls have already done so.

Besides, the Rose Bowl slot is rightfully Oregon's. It'd be great if Stanford could get it, but technically they didn't earn it.

They're only sort of getting hosed. I agree the BCS sucks. But without it Oregon would be in the Rose Bowl and Stanford would be in the Alamo Bowl.

It's pretty clear now what the possibilities are. If Stanford gets an at-large bid they will likely be in the Orange Bowl against Virginia Tech, or the Fiesta Bowl against Oklahoma. I'd bet on the Orange Bowl as I'm sure they do not want Connecticut.

If any one team can honestly say they are hosed this year its MSU. They get to watch a 4 loss team and a team that lost to a FCS team go BCS bowling....

Agreed that MSU has the only gripe. But VT deserves to be there even with the FCS loss. They've won 10 in a row against good opponents. Maybe not a typical ACC year but still solid teams.

I also think there's a small, a very small chance that Arkansas will get left out in lieu of LSU. I suspect it will at least be discussed. Don't think it will happen but won't be shocked if it does.

Traditions like the Rose Bowl are great and I understand why people like the idea of Stanford v. Wisconsin. But I think Wisconsin v. TCU is a great match up. If the bowls end up as predicted, except for the Fiesta they are all going to be great games.

And unless the voters do something crazy, Stanford will finish #4 and be guaranteed a BCS bowl. I don't think Harbaugh or anyone on the team is going to complain about playing in the Orange bowl.
