You gotta give it up to him folks, he managed to squeeze an entire career into the first 6 games he ever coached!!

Mongo want to coach Bronco's!

December 6, 2010  07:24 PM ET

The spygate 2 is what got him, in my opinion. 3 coaches now fired before the end of the season........Overall, this has been one weird year.

Ask not for whom the bell tolls.....it tolls for THEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He had to go, though...he sucked.

He came in and blew the situation with his starting QB. He told him that his job was safe - then proceeded to shop him around.

Do one or the other, not both.

Went on a six game winning streak then 5-17 thereafter.

Spygate 2 didn't help matters.

Just a bad coach all the way around.

They named Eric Studesville as interim, I guess. I hope we don't see Cowher or Gruden take the reins next year.

My guess is you wont. Bill has his eye on the coaching job in Carolina where he lives. As for Gruden...I'm not sold on him.

He was great with the team Dungy built in Tampa but it has yet to be seen if he can do it on his own.

Yeah, he did suck canal water. He never impressed me from the git go.

wow, 1.5 and done for Mc D in Denver.... I reckon getting rid of your best players in the first year you are with your new team will no longer be the blueprint for success..... LMAO

Same with Dallas. Gruden can stay in his suit broadcasting games. He looks plumb evil when he's PO'd.......lol...........

In a much lighter effect from this, one of the guys that it will more than likely hurt the most.... Tim Tebow

Jim want Mongo to coach Bronco`s also, but only if you stay drunk, and trade away the best players !

Mongo would get wasted, watch football movies for inspiration and on his first day promote the grounds keeper to middle linebacker and hotdog vender to left tackle.

The problem with your argument about Gruden is that he beat the team he built in the Super Bowl when Tampa Beat the Raiders. So Gruden knows how to build teams. I dont know why his teams in Tampa didnt thrive, but he was usually competative. Cowher I think will take a team like the Broncos. I am not sure the ownership in Carolina impresses Cowher all that much. Richardson basically took a season off because things just got a bit too complicated for him...Cowher would know what to do with an ownership like that. Bowlen is the closest thing to the Rooney situation Cowher will find in the job market. Bowlen is class old school and just wants to be proud of his team...Cowher will find that much to his liking.

I think they need to bulldoze the Bill Bellichick tree, and make a parking lot there.
