Branch vs Simpson is good
Garza Vs Loveland
Pace vs Demecio Page
Watson vs Michael Johnson, Terry Etim, maybe Aaron Riley or Shane Nelson
Loveland vs Garza
Garcia vs Phan no other solution
Story vs Hardy or Diego Sanchez
Maia vs Munoz, Akiyama, Alan Belcher or winner of Dan Miller and Joe Doerkson
Bonnar vs Phil Davis, Matt Hamill, Matyushenko, Tito Ortiz maybe
Brookins vs Spencer Fisher loser of Stevenson vs Danzig, Terr Etim or Dos Anjos depends on how high the UFC wants to jump the guy. I would like to see a rematch with Watson.

Why would you Drop Lyoto Machida down to Stephan Bonners level. He still a top level fighter. Top level. Yes he has 2 loses in a row but those were to the former Champ and the Currrent champ.

I like the idea of Bonners fighting Jason Brilz, Tito or even Chuck Liddel if the fans really want to see him fight again.
Maia vs Munoz or Akiyama would be a great match up
Brookins is too early to get any big names, he needs a couple tune up fights to keep building his resume. I think Dana is going to baby him to the top like he did with Evans.
I liked Woodee idea for story fighting against Hardy or Diego Sanchez, I would rather want Sanchez but either or would be a soild fight.
Garcia vs Phan sounds like the only fair match up at this point.
QUOTE(#5):
I actually wouldn't mind the fight. Bonnar has won 2 in a row, and he carries a big name. Machida is coming off 2 losses in a row, and needs to guy with a name that he can take out. Makes sense to me.
Bonnar would put up a better fight than most people realize. I guarantee it would be a decision win for Machida or maybe a lucky punch lands for Bonnar. He has good take downs and has very good BJJ.

I like the idea of Machida taking on the winner between Franklin and Forrest.

I also like the idea of Bonner facing the winner of Tito and Lil nog
There are a bunch of matchups that make sense for bonnar. The winner of lil nog and tito definitely makes sense as well. The reason I said Lyoto is because they are both big name fighters. Plus it would be a fight that Lyoto should win rather easily and gets his confidence back up. The UFC needs to give Lyoto a fight he can win so that they can make him a contender again. If Bonnar wins than he is instantly in talk for a title shot. It's important to remember that the UFC wants to make marketable fights as well, and bonnar vs lyoto is very marketable, could be a co-headliner or a headliner on a free card.
Who did Bonnar beat for those 2 wins compared to who Machida lost to. The Comparison just isn't the same. Machida needs to stay relavent. Better he loses to top competition then lose to Bonnar. to much of a risk. Maybe take some time off and fight the winner of Bader vs Jones.
I personally think both Bader and Jones would own Machida. Bader is a far better wrestler than Rampage and hits just as hard. Jones is just an amazing fighter. His striking and take downs are just amazing. There is no doubt to he will be champ someday.

Remember what Machida did to Evans who couldn't take Machida down and is a better wrestler then Bader. Jones is an amazing fighter but not there yet. Bader is prob his first real test.
Although it hasn't been stated out right. I feel like the winner of Jones vs Bader is getting Rampage and the winner of that fight will get a title shot.

I don't like because both are "good guys" and unfortunately one would have to lose.
The main problem I see now with machida, is when he was unbeaten, judges would allow him being "elusive". After his losses though, now they see him as "running away" from the opponent.
And while I can see both sides, I think he will have t adapt and become more aggressive
