QUOTE(#1):
You hit the nail on the head. Why do you think he wants to fight Noons?
I know, the thing about him I don't care too much if he is fighting a Shields or Kos type fighter because he will just get worked on the ground. But when he is having another fighter who is willing to stand with him then 9 out of 10 times its a ko. I knew when I saw Scott exchanging with him it was just a matter of minutes before getting dropped.
He did fairly well at stopping the takedowns and getting back to his feet against Kos. The fact is that if Kos or Shield want to take the fight to the ground they can take almost anyone down and turn the fight into a wrestling/jui jitsu match. Good thing for Daly is that in Strikeforce the welterweight division is loaded with people who want to stand and strike: Noons (although he is more of a lightweight), Cyborg, Diaz, Smith, Zaromoskis. And it is devoit of many dominant wrestlers. Tyrone Woodley is the only welterweight with a dominant wrestling style who is near the top of the division.
Daley vs Robbie Lawler would be a great stand up fight. At a catch weight. But I think Robbie has the heavy hands and KO's him. Daley is slightly faster though. Would be interesting.
