It was worth it. Paulie is the White Sox, just like Frank was back in the 90's, but I think the fans like Paulie more than they did Frank. Losing Paulies bat would have put a lot of pressure on Dunn and Rios to try and produce too much. Now we need tp bring JD back and get some bullpen help.

What position? The one where, if they do win the division, they get swept on out every year???

Good time for Paul to come off that MVP type of season in a contract year. I think the Sox bounce back and win the Central this year.

UMM Ya!!! Thats a steal, The O's offered him 40, not only that if the market was better for 1st baseman he would have got at least 45. the numbers alone are worth it. They paid Manny like 3 or 4 for a less than half a season, for a bunch a singles. This was a great winter for the Sox. the did all that and didn't lose one prospect, acutally gained one. All they have to do is keep Dunn off the field.

He was worth the money.

Of course it was worth it. At least Kenny makes reasonable gambles. The bitter taste of the Twins still swirls around like poison in his mouth. He still seethes over their dominant position in the division.

Dominant? Not really. Sox won the division in 2008 and the twins won it by one game over Detroit the year after. It's a toss up every year.

Second year with a strong start. Worth the money.
