It's incredible what this almost totally 'unrecruited' prospect has done for Boise St. He was recruited only by BSU and Eastern Washington (funny enough - the 'Blue' Turf and the 'Red' Turf).
4 years later he's 37-2 as a starter and sitting at the DAC in New York City.
Amazing.

Dammit. I used "kid" twice in one post. Lame.
Yah, but the dude does look to be around 17...
Moore is a natural born quarterback.
Sounds like the next Oliver Stone movie...
If this "kid" doesn't make it in the pro's, I think it's safe to say he might end up as one of the youngest college head coaches.

Don't worry about it Tnerb - that can happen when you put beer in your Rice Krispies.
Besides, that kid really is awesome.
And I'm not even kidding.

Oops.
sitting at Best Buy Theater (previously Nokia Theatre) in New York City.
After watching Moore a lot and seeing him against TCU in two bowls, I am thoroughly impressed. The guy had more composure as a freshman than most seniors do. Never seen him rattled(well he looked pretty rattled when Nevada made their FG).
Actually, I kinda hope that he will declare for the draft(1% chance, if that) so TCU won't face him next year in conference play. I believe despite his size, he might succeed in the NFL. He has so many intangibles just like Doug Flutie did.

But Canada isn't far from where he's from so the CFL might jump all over him if they get the chance. I could see him doing great on that huge field.

Never really saw him play that much, against VaTech, and Nevada this year...37-2 as as a starter, I dont care if you're playing the little sisters of the poor ;) thats impressive!

If you saw Kellen Moore on the street would it ever occur to you that he is one bada*s football player? I watched the Heisman show last night. What a student of the game! I hope he makes it in the NFL though I know he is lacking some physical attributes they will be looking for.
He will definitely get a shot. Enough non-prottypical QBs have made it.
He will be a great QB for the Calgary Stampeders for years to come.

And if he is.......more power to him!

Not so fast my friend...
I agree ... if you can still play pro ball and have fun go for it. :)
Realizing that the quality of teams they faced weren't the best....but the way he threw the ball and put it right where he wanted/needed....he can play....dam
