Yes, boys and girls, CFB fans of all ages, we have become accustomed to the CFB Game Day boards as the place to post our observations, before, during (especially during), and after the big game days of the season. So, here's THE BOWL BOARD. From the first until the last, post about the CFB Bowl games, here. Rants, raves, and the usual expressions of CFB fans caught up in the action are welcome. Occasional asides for humorous observations are also welcome, but if you've a non-Bowl-game bone to pick, find another board (The Table's cool), or create one of your own. Thanks in advance for your bowl game mania.

well, here's hoping the Big Ten kicks butt in their bowls. I'd love to see the 4-0 against the SEC

Would not mind that a bit as long as the B10 finished 0-1 against the MWC.

Love the new avatar...

Had a Christmas party on Saturday and there were a number of 20-40 year old girls hopping on Santa's lap. Was almost enough to want to go and put on some red pants...

SEC FAN here but its a weak SEC right now....shoot PENN STATE's best DEFENSE will be ADDAZIO calling the plays and Brantley leading the huddle!

Only disappointment for me is Stanford not playing in Rose Bowl. Think it would be a better natural game with them in it.

Agree...and ticket sales would be out the roof!

I have been keeping a running tab since Ohio State's national championship in 2002 of the ongoing "score" between Big10 and SEC in bowl games. It is a lively and relevant score because our match-ups are always our #1 against your #1 (two NC Games) BCS against each other. So most years it is our #3 against your #3 and our #4 against your #4.
We have played three games every year (Capital One Bowl and the Outback Bowl) except 2005, 2008 and 2009 when we only played two games.

This is my big premise boys and I am throwing it out there for all of you to shoot at it. We can all say **** is bigger than your dick but until we pull our pants down how do we know. We can say the SEC is the best conf but until we play the games between our respective teams then how do we know. Well we have matched our best against your best and over the last eight years we have met in 21 bowl games. The Big Ten has won 11 and the SEC 10. This includes the losses by Ohio St in the title games.

Now if you are as great as you say you are then why are you not dominating this area? Until we play the games on the field how do we know who is better.

Now before all you SEC homers get your panties in a bunch let me acknowledge that I think you have been the best conf in college football for the past 5 years. What I maintain is that the difference between you and the next conf is not as great as you think it is. I go back to the ninetys when the Big 10 was the best conf IMO hands down and we got absolutely no respect. You have been the best lately but you get all the respect. I take umbrage at that.

Now once again we get to decide it on the field. Four Big 10 teams will square off against four SEC's.

May the best man win.

What? Just because florida had a bad year doesn't mean the sec is weak. I think an argument could be made defending this as one of the better years in the sec.
