Weiss is a very good offensive mind. He also recruited pretty well at ND. If he can check his ego, he just might be a success in this role at UF.

Great move for Florida. Weiss may not be there for more than a year or two but it will give Muschamp a chance to learn how an offense should be run.

Read something on this being a family move for Charlie and a foundation they have in FL.

I did too. Move makes a lot of sense now and if he's successful and healthy, I think he'll be there a while.

Gator fans will need to get their Gatorskin thickened up for all the "fat jokes", they're already flying over on TnR.

I hope CW can do well, we'll see what happens. The transition from speed-spread to pro-set will be interesting to watch.

I hope that doesn't turn out to be "interesting to watch like a train wreck is interesting".

Yea, i think it can work. Much easier than whatever DC Muschamp gets. Hate to have THAT job. Weis is a very solid OC and a better OC than HC.

There has already been an impact to Gainesville, many local restaurants are getting ready switch to All-you-can- eat formats when Weis arrives.

Man ... if he can deal with Todd Haley as head coach im sure he can deal with Muschamp.
