All Auburn fans are invited to share what Auburn's appearance in the national championship means to them at the Auburn Win it For . . . website at http://auburnwinitfor.blogspot.com.

We have already received amazing contributions like the following:

???Win it for the little known Auburn Men and Women like Edward R (Shorty) Wren that left the University and the football program to serve in WWI and cried in formation when marching through the streets of Montgomery upon his return when the Auburn Band spotted him and played the fight song in appreciation for his service to the University and his country.???

???Win it for Shon Coleman. He stands with you today because you stood with him.???

???Win it for my dad - a Golden Eagle Auburn engineer who loved Auburn football and taught his daughter to do the same. He suffered through the 0-whatever 1949 season, saw the first game played in Jordan-Hare (then Cliff Hare), contracted pneumonia after sitting in the rain at an Auburn-LSU game in 1970, and sat in his same seat in the end zone for countless years until he absolutely was no longer strong enough to get there.???

Auburn: Win it For . . . is inspired by the legendary "Win it For" thread from the Sons of Sam Horn website dedicated to the Boston Red Sox for their 2004 World Series appearance, a copy of which now resides in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Thanks for visiting and contributing!

Win it for my father, an AU alum, who passed away in 2008, still grumbling about The Injustice Year of 2004.

Ok. Win it for those guys. That's classy, too.

Waaaar Eagle, fly down the field.
Ever to conquer, never to yield.
Waaaar Eagle, fearless and true.
Fight on, you orange and blue.
Go! Go! Go!
On to vic'try, strike up the band.
Give 'em Hell, Give 'em Hell,
Stand up and yell, Hey!
Waaaar Eagle win for Auburn, Power of Dixie Land!
