yes! if kobe will let pau to take the lead. and that is a big IF
It's a midseason hurdle they need to get over. Like always, fans and the media blow it way out of proportion. Kobe is fine. Pau is fine. Just give them time and everything will work out. Think about the mix of new players on the team this year: Matt Barnes, Steve Blake, Joe Smith, Theo Ratliff. Talk to me in June

Being a Lakers fan myself, I would rather have this team struggle in December/January, then in June. They will be fine, and they are still the team to beat.
Its a long season....everyone had Boston buried last regular season and then they hit the jets in the playoffs.
All that matters is those last 15-20 games heading right into the playoffs and then your play once you get there.
As a Heat fan, the Lakers are still the team to beat until it is actually done.
But, they do have a very good Mavs and Spurs team to contend with and if their play continues, they will get beat quick.

I agree with you, it's JANUARY! Now if the Lakers are playing this bad the last week or two of the season THEN LakerNation might have something to worry about.
kobe will never allow anyone but kobe to take the lead ever again. we are witnessing the demise of the lakers, and kobe. they will implode and lose in the playoffs.
Not true, everyone has a rough patch bro! like 9-8 MIA heat
