The Heat have a lot of pressure on them because of the big Summer they had. So, yes the Heat have turned up their play as of late, however, many other teams who will compete in the Playoffs are more then likely, playing the season like it's a marathon. That being said, I'm not sure if the Heat will continue to tear through teams as the playoffs near. I'm sure however that the Miami Heat will have difficulties beating teams such as Orlando and Boston in the East in a seven game series.
The Magic dont match up well with the Heat and I dont think that Boston will beable to keep up with the fast paced game the Heat have been playing. IMO Boston has the only shot at beating the Heat in the playoffs (I doubt they will win 4 of 7 though) now that Dallas has injury problems.
The Magic have a solid team, but most of their "decent" defenders are now gone.
Gilbert Arenas and Hedo Turkolgo do not play D well and Miami will eat them alive in a fast break.
Over a 7 game series, the ONLY team I fear as a fan, is the Celtics.
They have the best overall team as of now...but, let's not forget that age and injuries play into things and those guys are no spring chickens.
Also, Miami will only improve from here because when Haslem gets back, he will take Howards minutes off the bench and be much much more productive.
The playoffs will be exciting for sure.

It's not even all star break...the Heat are still jelling. They could (and I stress could) be almost unstoppable after the break, much like the Suns a couple of years ago. Not saying it???s going to happen, but it seems more likely than some other scenarios.

LeBron's team will never win a title. He just chokes in those Final 4 games far to often
Yes, their streaks will just be interrupted when they run into BOS lol

Now that is probably the most intelligent post I have ever read.
This is proof that our education system is failing in America.
It's gonna be tough getting past Orlando and Boston. The east is Stacked yet again. Can't wait!

the problem I see with Miami is that they are young superstars without a real old experienced player (that they would respect & listen) to keep them focused.
When they are in the zone, they win games... then they lose focus. and one loss for them is harder than for other teams as they are very young and don't cope well...
it will be interesting to see how they'll match up against Boston, as Boston will have a sense of urgency this time.
Miami has a very good team, but Boston has a slightly better one that is more battle tested together as a unit.
Miami needs to keep working on getting better and knowing all along that Boston is the measuring stick...
The regular season is not the end of the world but Miami knows that as of this past Sunday, they still need to play more consistent for 4 quarters to get a W over the Celts...

Does anyone besides me believe that Cleveland wins a championship before LeBron does? Notice that's not just the Cavilers I said Cleveland!!! There are 2 teams (At least.) in the east that stand a good chance of beating Miami. Don't underestimate teams Miami fans just because you have good individuals doesn't mean they are good teammates. Right now the Bulls and Boston BOTH have the better teams working together. Just for a minute look at how they both have played through their injuries. They really are playing like teams!!! Something LeBron hasn't been known for EVER!!! Teamwork wins championships in team sports not individuals. Ps. Wouldn't it be fitting and hilarious if the Heat are knocked out in the FIRST ROUND???

Say that to the Lakers!!! lol!!! It's just a matter of time untill someone in Cleveland does it. Personally I think that the Browns will win the Super Bowl in two or three years with Holmgren in the leaders seat.

First off...them losing in Round 1 is Fiction...
Obviously you are a serious Chi town Homer and are not looking at reality...
Right now, the playoff seedings are :
1 - Boston, 2 - Miami, 3 - Chicago, 4 - Orlando, 5 - Atlanta, 6 - New York, 7 - Philly, 8 - Indy
For a team that is playing as individuals, we have a better record than you...and please do not even bring up injuries...we have had ours too.
Chicago is 0-2 vs the Knicks this season and they would be your Round 1 matchup...I think you need to worry more about the Bulls making it, than Miami.
Plus, if Miami is playing "Individual" basketball as you say, why is it your precious Bulls only averages 2 more assists per game as a team??
You coming on here and preaching like you have is about the same as me saying the Celts are not in our league, despite the fact we are 0-3 vs them....
Get it right...

HUH?? You do realize that LeBron has only gotten to one Finals, right? Getting swept in the process by a much more talented Spurs team. So please explain to me how King Ringless has "choked" in "those Final 4 games" when he's only made one Finals apperance?
I know this is a Heat playoffs thread but on a sidenote(LeBron), does anyone know what that weird looking band-aid thingy was he wore in the all-star game the other night? Looked like a breath right but not on his nose.
