I'm sure a few guys here bet on the fights, and if not maybe you have an opinion. So, anyway I was looking at the betting odds for UFC 126, and some lines seem a bit off to me.Anderson -275 Vitor +215Now, of course Anderson should be the favorite here, but should he be that big? I think Vitor has a great shot of clipping Anderson and finishing him.Franklin -190 Forrest +150I think the line is about right. I fully expect Rich to win this fight. i think his standup is better, and he has more power than FG. FG wont be able to take Rich down, so I think it stays standing where Rich has the edge.Jones -400 Bader +300Now, I think most of you guys know Im a big Jones fan, and have been for quite a while, but a -400 favorite? I really dont think so. Bader has tremendous wrestling and big power. I think Bader is def worht a small play here.Ellenberger -360 Rocha +280Another fight where I think the underdog might be good for a small play. Ellenberger is an explosive wrestler with heavy hands, but Rocha is real slick on the ground. I could see Rocha subbing Jake here.Thoughts on the fights or odds?
Silva's odds are always nuts.
The odds on Jones-Bader are INSANE. Odds that crazy always make me think "fix!" in the back of my mind.
Franklin-Griffin should be a bit closer in my mind.
I can easily see Bader getting multiple takedowns and getting a decision win.
I think franklin forrest is wayyyy off franklin is the exact fighter that forrest will accell at and should def be ine of the best chances for a win
Plus bader? That is way off i bader isnt some vet who wants to keep it paced he will push back fast and it will be eithet a big mistake or the first to gas who goes down
The Jones odds are ridiculous. Jones is good and has had some exciting finishes, but that sounds like either like Dallas said a fix is in or the media hype machine working overtime. Bader is better than that. I'm not a betting guy so I don't know much about the numbers listed but I know a little about it. Those numbers are insane.
I think Silva's are a bit scewed also. Though I think when he has a serious opponent in front of him he fights far better than when he doesn't. I don't think he thought Sonnen was a serious threat in his last fight which explains the performance to me more than Sonnen is just that good. You can bet he is taking Vitor more serious than he did Sonnen because Vitor is still lightning fast with his hands.
Franklin I think will finish Forrest unless Forrest can turn the fight into a war like he had in his first fight with Bonner. If he can just turn the fight into a brawl like that he has a chance, but I think he needs a willing opponent to do that and Franklin is to smart for that and will finish him mid second round.

i smell parlay here....a 100 parlay may bring in 10K
QUOTE(#9):
A $100 parlay on Vitor and Bader nets you close to 1k.
im saying on the 4 fights you mentioned
The lines here aren't bad, but I don't see anything that is spectacular to bet on. There are some big favorites, but they are for a reason. The only dog here that I would even look twice at would be Forrest, but I think he will have a lot of trouble with Franklin's straight strikes.
I'm 18 now, and will probably start putting like $50 a month on some fights. I am just waiting for the right one to pop up. It will all depend on the lines, but I think that one fight I will probably be putting some on would be Mirko and Schaub, as I see Mirko winning and Schaub being a big favorite.
What sites do you guys use for betting on the fights?
QUOTE(#15):
So, you don't give Bader and Vitor much of a chance? Because I do, especially at those numbers.
Vitor perhaps, but not Bader.
Vitor always as the chance to explode with a boxing combo and kill any man, but he also had at one point a terrific double leg and good clinch game, so if he can Anderson to fight on his terms he could frustrate him anywhere.
Bader isn't as strong as Jones, even though they look close. Jones is not long for 205, and is substantially bigger than Bader. And he is way faster. His MMA wrestling is at least on par with Baders, and his striking is way better. Short of a crazy left hook, I see no way that Bader can win.
QUOTE(#17):
Interesting. I actually think Bader is stronger than Jones and his wrestling is up to par. And I'm not sure Jones striking is way better. I think Jones should be the favorite, but can see Bader winning this fight.
really jimmy? have you watched bones?? hes redick!! anderson silva, just bigger.
