NFL  > General NFL  > HGT's Draft Board Part 2

9 Dallas - Prince Amukamara - They could also go with Robert Quinn or Marcel Dareus. Basically the Cowboys have to rebuild their defense which sucked in 2010 and their offensive line. This is too high for any of the O-Line prospects so it's the best Defensive player available.

10 Washington - Jake Locker - With Newton off the board Shanny has few options. He needs a QB but his system calls for somebody mobile. I can't see him trading for Vince Young. Newton is off the board. That leaves Locker who has an abysmal completion percentage. But if he doesn't get a signal caller this year, Dan Snyder is going to kick him out on his rear.

11 Houston - Robert Quinn - Wade Phillips Defense needs outside pass rush. Marcel Dareus or Stephen Pea would make sense too but there are a lot of run stuffers and 3-4 DLinemen in this draft. But he really needs another backer to line up opposite Cushing. That and pray Cushing's success in 09 wasn't all juice related.

12 Minnesota - Blaine Gabbert - The sheer volume of teams needing a QB is really going to make this draft interesting. This is really too high for Gabbert, it's too high for Newton, Mallet or Locker but NEED is pushing in on these teams. The Vikes more than anything. They need to turn the page of Brett Favre and until they draft a QB number 1 that door's always going to be a little bit open.

13. Detroit - Brandon Harris - The Lions scored big with Suh last year. They might also draft a left tackle here. But biggest need is secondary help for their rapidly improving D.

14. St. Louis - Julio Jones - A No brainer. Anyone who saw last week's game against the Seahawks knows they need to get Bradford some weapons. Look for them to make a run at free agent WRs as well. They could also trade up into the top of the draft to grab AJ Green.

15. Miami - Ryan Kerrigan - Miami has a lot of needs but drafting Kerrigan to line up opposite Cameron Wake just makes too much sense. This again is drafting to a strength. It would give the fish one of the best pass rushes in all the NFL.

16. Jacksonville - Marcel Dareus - Dareus slid quite a bit in my draft but that's because everyone went QB crazy. This is a steal for the Jaguars and would completely revitalize their defensive line.

When the Titan's owner came out and said we are moving on without Vince Young...VY's trade stock took a hit and the Titan's know that. There is no team in the league that will give the Titan's a first round pick for VY when they can wait for him to be released and get him for free. The most the Titan's can expect in return for Vince is a third rounder at best, more likely a fifth round pick. I would not be surprised that Shanny jumps at him and offers the Titan's a fourth round pick. Shanny liked Vince when he came out of school and joked to the Denver media that Vince Young would be his pick for the Broncos.
