By most standards I would be consisdered a old man, I'm 50 years old and have been gambling for quite a few years, would love to help any one that might not understand the lingo or the odds. I've been good at times picking sides, (winners ATS, Against The Spread) ML (money line) is about understanding the odds, anybody can pick a favorite, but picking a dog on the ML and winning, that takes knowledge. Tomorrow is a good example: The Saints and the Seahawks. If you got some Balls, you can get Seattle on the ML for +450 at some books(gambling sites)that means for every $100 you bet you could win $450 !! That guys are very good odds !! A small play on the ML (seattle), say $25, $50 could win you some great $ !! Worth a shot I think ! ATS = against the spread, ML = Money Line - the ML is straight up btw, you're not getting or giving any points.

The Seahawks +10 looks good, odds are -110 - for every $110 you bet you win $100

The Seahawks should cover 10 points at home with their QB back and the Saints not having Thomas or Ivory playing, but its a risk. Brees could light them up ? I probably will buy the hook up to +10.5, meaning I'll pay some $ for that 1/2 point.

I don't pretend to be the brightest bulb on the tree or know more than others, I just like to bet on sports, not large sums of money though. All I can afford is small plays but I will bet 15 - 20 games a week.
