Good question. No way. TigerBait is right, his dad can take all the blame he wants, but there's no way Cam wasn't going to have an input on his own future and money. Funny how when Cam was on Jim Rome, he called going to Auburn was a "business decision".

Personally I think Cam Newton is the last person that deserves what god has given him. He sold honorable awards, stole some kids laptop, adn after the game he claimed "god wanted him to spread his message." Seems to me his ego puts him ahead of the rest of the human population becuase he can play football. Unbelievable.

The NCAA bylaws say it doesn't matter if the "player" knew or not as long as his "guardian" did. But why should this surprise anyone when they delayed sanctions till next year for players caught cheating this year so they could play in their bowl.
